Redneck ... and his love of the Quota
Draad...Spain!
Live there for just six months and then try to leave.
It'll break your heart in a hundred ways man.
...France can suck a giant dick though haha
CC
I don't believe I've ever had issues with Rooi in my years here. Guess we must be cut from the same (insert expletives) cloth huh?
Guys that claim to be straight but can't stop talking about gay sex. Grown men that explode with emotion when their ideas are challenged.
You're a walking cliche son.
See how furrowed your brow was as you read the above? Notice how different parts of your mind agreed and disagreed with the words? Did you hear that voice saying "He's right" while the another voice said "Fuck him. He doesn't really know."
My advice. Get to a gay club and sort out your issues. You'll be all the better for it.
You know those sad sixty year olds you see flaming around because they've just discovered gay love? That's your future...if you're brave enough. The latter is worse, in every way.
Funny huh? To think you're more of a coward than that weirdo in tight purple pants. True though, sadly...for you.
Any life is better than closet life, I'm sure. There's a pretty rife drag scene in Gauteng too. I mean, if you really wanna method act that shit. I know some chicks that do makeup promos. They'll hook you up with all the lipstick you need. As a first time customer, I'm sure they'll chuck in some glitter for you too.
I support you 100%. I'll celebrate your emancipation with you.
Just go for it my pouting lil ball of repression. The world is your very own chocolate starfish.
And hey, even if you're a doos, you'll still get laid...they are dudes after all.
Edit: "I would love to live in the States under Trump."
Hahahaha

"These things only get inhibited (they never go away completely) by powerful interventions....like the Great Recession or the complete plunge into dictatorship. Then you rebuild and once there's prosperity the pressure builds again."
Makes a lot of sense. An eye of the needle type thing.
Wonder what the "pressure" after this mess will look like. There'll probably be some unforseen factor(similar to today's social media phenomenon) in the mix.
I guess the variable grows exponentially alongside new technology.
Maybe a nice big solar flare would put us in our place.
...on his bump

Where in Spain did you live?
Boy, did this thread go places I never expected
Denny
Torroella de Montgri.
Let me guess ... you speak fluent Spanish too, right Tail Gunner?
LOL!!
I speak enough to identify repressed over the hill latino males that just want the same thing you want CC.
Happy to help broaden your horizons.
If you like, I'll assist you in setting up your Spanish grinder account. You can click accept until you've had your fill of soft fabrics, bright colors and male odours.
Anything for my homie.
The affection between posters here, and their subtle offers to assist each other..... is touching.
I'm almost choking up, whilst I type this.....
Plum
Interesting. What made you stay there? North of Barcelona, a stone's throw from France and a very small population.
Denny
If you're asking what I liked about the place.
Geez, so much man. The people. Straight forward, open-minded, friendly, easy going, as one expects the Spanish to be.
The area. Pyrenees mountains, many lovely beaches, fresh food, farm lands, Barcelona, Figueres, Girona. Lots of history and great summer festivals all over the area.
The art, music, late nights and good friends.
I've yet to find an area that I enjoy more.
Mate, you don't have to tell me, I know, I love the place, I've been their twice. Said to wifey the other day, "If there's a country you'd like to revisit where would that be?" without missing a beat she replied "Spain" That coming from someone who lives by the rule "been there, done that...let's move on" Toured Andalucia for 9 days and Catalonia for 10 days. Here's something interesting, there's a world heritage church in Cordoba which was used for worship by three different religions, the Muslims, Christians and the Jews...meaning each one had an allocated time of worship on a rostered basis.
Hint...hint.....our beaches are better than there's....but then again swimming in the Mediterranean is awesome.
Aaahhh the nightlife.....everyone steps out from about 10pm
But equally there are just as many crap white players like Ross Cronje or Jacobie Adriaanse or Chris v Zyl so banging on about quotas is laughable
Well said, Dave. Posters are unceasingly bitter about quotas but pause for a moment and think of all the useless white players we've had to suffer through the decades. But hey.....apparently that's acceptable.
I hate the idea of quotas and what it does to the sport, but I'm reluctant to label certain players as Q...The whole Q thing is an insult to players of colour...it will always cast doubt over their selection...were they the best in their position or were there Q reasons? We should be free of this BS almost 30 years since Mandela was released.
Even most of the black players are sick of the "quota" term.
They say it undermines their true potential or selection for all regional or national players
Imagine what it must feel like being chosen for the springboks but not knowing if it was purely because you are black.....
I bumped into Trevor Nkayane in a lift while sharing the same hotel......after a brief chat I swear you wouldn't find a player more proud of playing for the Boks.
Quota or no quota, why is there so much vitriol attached to a black player deemed unworthy of the Bok jumper but not so in the case of a useless white player. It reminds me of a time when a magistrate said, "When a white man rapes a black woman it's not as bad as when a black man rapes a white woman."
The reason blacks suffer under the quota label is twofold. Firstly because one can painfully see they are quota players. Secondly because of the ANC required quota setting.
I'm led to believe Akker is being kept out by useless Britz.
Yeah right, Dave ... you keep telling yourself that.
Either way, quotas are a stupid thing. It's more don in spite than anything else. There's no long term plan with it. It's a short term fix for continual failure to properly support kids.
The argument itself is also flawed. Quotas are supposed to inspire black kids to play sports they normally wouldn't. This means that it's not funding or opportunity that is lacking but rather motivation.
Forced equal outcome undermines talent and promotes a plethora of social ills.
I'm lucky enough to see first han d much of the hard work the engine room of government churns out so I'm not as quick to insult the entire party as what some others are.
Still, that's no excuse for the many failings, corruption and lies from ANC bigwigs.
Plum, the ANC is a multy-headed beast. There are lots of good people in their structures. My problem is that they kept Zuma in power long after it was clear that he should be in jail. No one has been locked up yet...until I see heads roll, I don't buy that Cyril is in charge or that he's not one of the corrupt bastards too.
