Richie McCaw Retires....

A much deserved rest for in my opinion the greatest player to play the game, a massive legacy left behind.

 Dammit I want more ! I want him to be the first to 150 caps and the one and only to have 100 wins as captain .But thats just me being greedy ,Richie will be bowing out in style still at the top .A well deserved rest and new fields to conquer await him .Kia Kaha Richie McCaw ! No doubt beensh!t  will have some slimy little comment to make like all little troll boys do .

Apparently he has his sights on card gambling and other trickery. 
Just kidding- great player. He was like having the coach on the field- as well as being a test standard loose forward in all 3 back row spots. He has certainly influenced games out of the fire to win. 

 Well done Richie and well played. May GOD bless you and keep you in your future endeavors. Thank you for the wonderful memories - ps I know there is more to come with next RWC 2019 in Japan with you as technical advisor .

 McCaw was a top class loosie and contributed massively to world rugby - but time is never on the side of any sportsman and his time has a rugby player has run out.   A wise decision to quit before he spoils his reputation like so many other players do is indeed a wise decision.       

Great player! I can't stand him, which is testament to how good he is/was! He did get away with murder though, and didn't deserve his last World Player of the Year award. But he did deserve the previous two, and will go down deservedly as one of the best players ever! 

 His retirement is really overshadowed by his achievements. He went out in the low key fashion that he wanted. A great player who never let his image try and overshadow the game. Well done Richie you have set down a marker for every kid to aspire to!

Top Player, Top Captain. To hold done a place in the ABs for as long as he is, is a testament to the talent and the dedication of the man. 

 I will never forget his and his teams gesture towards Habana and Jean a few years ago after the reached 100 tests. True rugby brothers.

 Draad if beandork mans up and takes my offer it wont be me leaving ,and he used to do the same on the ABs site .But in typical "look over there " fashion he ignores anything that he cant prove or handle .And the ABs have a much better relationship with their brother Bok players than with the Ausssies who for a while now have behaved like children .The ABs and Boks will play each other like their lives depended on it but soon as the whistle goes will have a beer and a bit of a yarn .The Aussies for instance knocked back an invite by the ABs after getting thrashed but the next game that they won in Hong Kong took the ABs up on it purely to come around and gloat ,the over the top beahaviour after that win is guaranteed to make steam issue forth from Cloudys ears !
