This is what I wrote about the game earlier this week:-

"*    I am very hesitant about using the Crusaders iro their game against the Sharks,   The Crusaders this year lost only one game and that was against the sub-par Waratahs - a team easily beaten by the Sharks.   I do not like very much to use a team  like the Crusaders as a certainty in such an environment.   However, I think that although not a banker the Crusaders should be in the mix and probably used by a majority of the Rankers participants."

The Sharks defense was like trojans - fighting every inch of the way,   Congratulations to them - they actually should have won - but a draw is also a compliment to them.  The Du Preez twins were tops and showed why they should be in the Springbok squad without a shadow of doubt,

Can they not release Robert du Preez early to go to England - he is a wa lking disaster for the team.

Sounds like it was a good match with Sharks relying on the boot & Saders making enough mistakes to almost give the game away. I see Beeno still struggles to understand the meaning of the score board, lol

Nice and well deserved draw Sharkies. Just a pity they suffer somewhat with their tight 5. They clearly missed Beast.

Cheers Blob. The Sharks tried twice to do a quick flat throw to the front of the lineout, first one was ridiculously skew and the other one I think they knocked the ball, can't remember exactly but it didn't work and they lost possession. Akker's throwing was not good enough in general .

Marx seems to be over his problem with line out throw ins and it seems it has no gone to Akker, That was really bad and  could eliminate Akker as potential candidate for selection to the WC squad .
