Show me a worse flyhalf ever playing for SA.   He buggered  up more games than anybody else.   Was dropped by Meyer in 2012 and twice in 2014  because he was totally useless.

Started off being a handicap in the Under 21 WC - ended up being a worse handicap in 2017.

Is there any reason why you would like to put that game into context? It’s OK. Don’t bother answering. I know exactly the reason why. 

Be that as it may, the context of that final is that Stade Français was on their way out of the competition thanks to your blue eyed boy Jules Plisson. Morne was brought back for the quarter final and he was eventually  the main reason for SF winning that semi final against Toulon as well. That was according to the French press.

So what did Morne add to the game other than kicks at goal.   Nobody ever said he was NOT a good goal kicker - what he totally missed out for the rest was all other aspects of flyhalf play.That made him a  liability at flyhalf.     

If Meyer fired his braai mate from the team in 2012 and twice in 2014 - he was piss poor as a flyhalf - who are we to argue against that?

I remember watching the Under 21 Final and it was a shocking display of uselessness and poor play by Morne.   The game was saved by other players whio scored tries as long as Morne was not involved.  I cannot remember a single kick at goal he converted - neither tries nor penalties,  Would have if he did - but was horrified because he did not.  That game stuck in my mind for years afterwards as an example of the deficiencies of Morne Steyn as a player.  

I do not really care about how Stade Francais handled the Morne Fiasco - ending up firing him midway through the present series.   What I care about is what happned when he played for the  Springboks more than anything else.   

Answer the following:-

Did it happen - yes or no?   Did Meyer a clown himself as a coach - fired Morne without  proper reason?   Meyer was near to tears in an interview in 2012 about the Morne firing - so there must have been good reasons.   

The 2014 firings were after a total shit second test against Wales in June 2014 =- where he  joined Matfield in an unsuccessful attempt to loose the test.   Morne got back for two tests and then committed hara kiri in the Perth test - which he and only he caused the Springboks to lose the match.   

Why don't you think before the bloody praise songs on a total flop as a flyhalf?
