Women being able to vote in a democratic system is the biggest change. Democracy was not invented in a place like Africa because it obviously would not work here.

Saffex, what is Demogratic Law? Sharkbok used it as a term as if it's something like "Roman Dutch Law."..or "Roman Law"...or "Common Law"....I've never heard of "Democratic Law" or "Greek Law" 

What I do know is that, at varsity level, almost every discipline, they start off with the history of the subject since the Greek Civilization...

Democratic principles,  protected by law, or ingrained in the law/ constitution ... like Plum said..and yes, the Greeks had laws, but were famous for other reasons. The Romans gave us "The Law"...Meyer Bowman's mom told me. ...but go on, keep on being a wiseass. ..it suits you.
