I should have expected the usual tiresome ref-bashing would ramp up for a RWC.
It's only rugby noobs and crybabies who expect rugby refs to be perfect and who bleat for hours on end about all the mistakes that the naughty ref made and demand that the refs on World Rugby's elite panel all be replaced by less qualified refs.
People who actually played the game or understand rugby recognize that rugby union is probably the hardest sport in the world to officiate due to the complexity of rugby's laws and because of the high levels of judgement and interpretation that are required to apply things like the advantage law, offside, policing foul play and many other elements of the game that are not as cut and dried as whether a ball was inside the line or not.
I hope no-one pays any attention to the endless squealing from crybaby rugby noobs like Baboon-ou and he-who-shall-not-be-named. Leave them to shriek like pre-pubescent girls every time they don't like a decision or if the team they're supporting gets penalized. Paying attention to their shrill whining all day every day will only encourage the little chaps to squeal even louder and work themselves up into a complete state.
