Poor rooitwit never questions whether a ref is cheating. A classic was when in a Super Rugby match a sharks player was dumped on his head. Dickinson gave a penalty for a red card offence. Folks were outraged but the spineless coward rooiyellowbelly immediately started his don't critise the ref refrain. I had to stand up for the Sharks! 

Rooikiwi loves nothing better than when SA sides get the short end. Rooikiwi reached rock bottom when he defended Bryce Lawrence. 

Let's face it rooikiwi hates South African rugby. Piss off to Nz turncoat!

Anyone who simply enjoys the sport of rugby would likely have enjoyed watching rugby world cup 2019 every game so far. Personally I've found it an incredibly exciting opening weekend. However, of you're just a one team supporter and excited to see what they'll do with their best team, of there ever is such a thing given injuries, errors etc., then I can see that it might be boring. But there'll be plenty of games left to go outside.

Please look at the following statement issued  by World Rugby:-

In an unusual statement released on Tuesday, World Rugby has admitted to refereeing errors and inconsistencies at the Rugby World Cup.

With the tournament only four days old, the statement comes as a shock as the governing body reveal they’ve been unhappy with decisions.

The statement is made following plenty of criticism from South African fans in particular after their Pool B loss to New Zealand on Saturday.

“Following the usual review of matches, the match officials team recognise that performances over the opening weekend of Rugby World Cup 2019 were not consistently of the standards set by World Rugby and themselves, but World Rugby is confident of the highest standards of officiating moving forward,” the statement read.

“Elite match officials are required to make decisions in complex, high-pressure situations and there have been initial challenges with the use of technology and team communication, which have impacted decision-making. These are already being addressed by the team of 23 match officials to enhance consistency."

“Given this proactive approach, a strong team ethic and a superb support structure, World Rugby has every confidence in the team to ensure that Rugby World Cup 2019 delivers the highest levels of accurate, clear and consistent decision-making.”

Although there were refereeing errors made in other games as well - and a number of those have been listed on this site - I think that the main problem was encountered in the AB-Springbok test on Saturday,   This is indeed a shocker coming from World Rugby and I am afraid the main problem was Garces.   

I wonder whether he would be given lesser games in future - we will have to see what happens next.

By the way it was worded I think Read will also be dealt with rather harshly after his remarks about the referee being "gutless", hence the highlighted comments about team communication.

Chieka's a good coach and decent guy - probably totally misunderstood by outsiders or those who are a 'tard, Tard... 

He's rare example of someone who doesn't hide behind false pretence (eg kiwi coach for Fiji - John McKee) and has the interests of the team and players at front of everything he does.

If your team, or any team got shit calls I'd be calling it exactly as I do when my team gets shit calls. 

I don't watch the ABs unless the Boks are playing them. So I don't c omment on most of your games. But when I do, and they have something unfair happen, I treat it exactly the same.

Ultimately my ranking goes like this

Fairness>Rugby>my team>your team

This was the comments after Proudfoot's comments  and before the WR statement,   He tried the stunt after attacking Du Toit and Malherbe and earlier blaming the Springboks for poor scrumming., very interesting and totally expected from him though,

So, no, I don't think there is a reason why he should run away.

Rooi's blanket statement was more about him being annoyed by people complaining about refs. That's been his stance since forever. He's got no reason to run either.

As usual, my stance is that Rugby is tough to officiate, but even when compensating for that, games are all too often affected by shocking calls. And I hate it.

It's a waste of 80 minutes for  everyone involved.

Rugby needs referrals. 

It's cleaned up every sport that it's been introduced to so no reason why it can't help rugby.
