The referee probably got a warning and slap on the wrists after the match. The other option is that the Springbok management would objct to him reffing any game they re involved in as h appened in the past . Referees are huan beings and they make mistakes - but those are often deliberate and a review was proabbly held to deaal with the problem.

Just looking at some of that footage paused and slowed down brings home just how complex the game has become. No wonder referees are struggling for consistency. I wouldn't want that job.

Yes Pakie, it'd very technical and all, but the errors must at least seem even-handed. They got away with way more on the offside line and some of the calls against us seemed outright petty...we lost not because of him, but because we couldn't adapt to him in time...not blaming the ref for the loss, that's all on us, but it was poor reffing.

What slap from Kirifi?

It was a shove to the face which happens all the time with these “handbag” type confrontations!

Will these video guys stop at nothing to prove referee bias?

Look at 3.19 on this video to see what happened in the scrums….Ox went forward, Tank collapsed. Most refs would have called a penalty for the ABs

What’s the point here…are we saying we were robbed?

Some members are bad losers unfortunately.

Get over it folks and watch Saturdays game with the "B" Bok team.

Got to take your hat off to Rassie as he honestly believes in himself even when things go south, or is it just plain s......?

Arfur bollocks ... nobody's making excuses. For the record I'm in Paki's camp, discovering sympathy for refs with the unbelievable complexities in the game.

Difficult match to ref in dificult conditions...ref made a few errors that went against us...it's home town advantage...we also had the rub of the green on a few occasions during the last few years...the Allblacks adapted to and used the conditions masterfully to their advantage...well done to them...we were probably a bit lucky not to have lost by a bigger margin, especially after their good start.

AB's had conditions to suit but they also kept things simple.
