Sharks has no exit game. Not using the boot smart enough. Trying to run everything against a superior french team with better hands and shape

What is saving the Sharks now is that Tolose keeps knocking on and handing them back possession.

What play by Julius. Why did they not start with Hooker and Julius.

Saffex will not stop going on about this. But amazing support lines, line break, passing and finishing off what he started

Kwotalisi with other quotas were invisible all game. They full back for Fassi was useless, Buthelezi hardly made an impact.

I do think the sharks need a world class coach with all of their money and yet they can't string wins together.

Mpimpi and Bongi showed their age today.

Hendrikse was half asleep today with poor kicks.

Really poor performance by the Saarks.

To Lose played better with ball in hand. Expect the Saarks to be use to playing in humidity

That was painful.m to watch. Sure Toulouse are a good side, but the Sharks were aweful. That scoreline was very flattering. Mapimpi is supposed to be a Bok...but he's trying to run the ball from his in-goal area? The conditions were so slippery, and the Sharks just kept trying to play from deep within their territory even though they never look liked like breaking out. Hendrikse, with that massive boot, should have been under strict instructions to keep Toulouse out of his 22. But he didn't. They kept running, they kept losing the ball and it was only errors from Toulouse that prevented an embarrassing margin. I think something like 70% of the first half happened inside the Sharks 22. ...like, how is that even possible? Terrible game management and there was a clear lack of leadership on the field. The Sharks look completely clueless for large swathes of that game.

Ja, and poor Ox got folded in half several times. He is the world's number 1 prop.

Looks like his form is dropping or other props want to prove something. Not the first game that it happened to him.

Doesn't look these players know how to play as unit. Not sure if there are too many cultures or ego in the team. Every black just want to run with the ball, no matter what.

Baas Rassie would have told them not to do that. He would be on them all the time. He would told Mpimpi kick the ball. Don't run put pressure on the catcher.

To think they have a bok pack in Ox, Bongi, Koch, Kolisi and the Tsesuka who could be capped soon and they can't dominate the frogs up front.

Then they have the boks 9 with his brother. They have journeyman at 12 in Venter and a former bok that I don't get why the keep picking him. He does nothing. Hooker is a prospect but his position is 12. Mpimpi on the wing with some no name full back that was awful for the junior boks and now he starts for the Saarks because he is black.

He needs a few more games to develop.

The match tactics was awful.

I just don't think plumbers have what it takes to lead a squad like this.

He is barely a kiwi assistant coach let alone a coach that can take a team like the Saarks

The Sharks, good on paper but rudderless on the field….no clear leadership when Eben is absent. Kollisi? He is clearly only a leader, when the support group is around him. Jordan is supposed to direct things more as a good 10?? Looks lacking in that department . Kade Wolhuter and Jurie Matthee is better at directing in the Pivot position. Even Manie directs better and that says a lot…. Maybe Plumtree is not the answer, but his players besides Eben, Esterhuisen, Hooker, Julius, Ox, Hanro, Rahl, Gerbrandt, is Not helping much.

I had the distinct feeling that they were under orders to run as much as possible and try to tire the Frenchies out. There is no way Jordan would be happy to run from his try line over and over. But after being pegged in your half for 20 minutes, one would think that the captain would step in and demand more territorial play. Saying that, Jordan had a good game. He took it to the line well, and was kicking very well when he did kick. Far more powerful than Manie, a bigger boot, more accurate from the tee and a better defender. What I didn't t like from him was the perpetual offloads that lost possession. He tries to do a touch too much.

Yes he is in a way the way you describe him, but even at the Lions and playing for the Boks, it seems he is lacking crucial Decision making skills. Like you said he didn’t make those important choices to put his team on the front foot. His territorial game is not up to standard, obvious in allowing the Frenchies to farm in Sharks half. And that happened for extended periods of time and the bell never went of in his head ? Compare Manie and the stormers game , where the WP had better territory gain all game long.

The Sharks have depth in the players in the squad but I am concerned that some of the selections and team leadership is falling far short of the mark.

The reputed 17 million that the Sharks spent to get  "Singing Kaptein" back was a complete waste of money on a player who is over the hill.

Plumtree has been a failure this time around with the Sharks and needs to join The Bulls coach as a spectator.
