Jalap

Sorry

I corrected the typing error before you made your posting.  He played at 10 and 12 in his school and even junior Shark years.   Plumtree moved him to 13 because of his kicking out of hand requirements.

Disagree lads, Jordaan has yet to show he has the touch of a distributor or that sense of awareness that sets him apart, he is at 13 or wing for reason - he is a finisher and his strength is his pace and feet.

He is not ahead of Taute and JJ at 13, they are all of a similar status in terms of ability with Jordaan being the least physical.

I rate Jordaan highly but I need to see a full S15 to see if he physically measures up - I hope to hell he does

You should know by now that you are wrong.  Jordaan played opposite Engelbrecht om at least two ooccassion and in both cases played the fool with him.   He is ten times the 13 Engelbrecht will ever be,  He also played opposite Taute in a CC game and the result was the same.   .

Your idea of physicality is warped as well.    Because Taute and Engelbrecht is taller than he is - does not make the physically more imposing.    The fact is that Jordaan has ball sense and skills - somthing Taute and Engelbrecht miss out on.

Let me add one more thing.   I do not know why you have not watched the games Jordaan payed in on Super 15 and CC level?   If you did then I assume you did not follow the games carefully and saw what happened..

Before the Sharks - Reds game I wrote to Sasue in a message on this Board that the Reds must watch out - Jorfaan is going to give them problems.   And he as a major head ache for the Reds in that game - basically through very effective passing and creating of space,  Maybe you should watch games more carefully before writing something really silly on this Board

Bullshit, Jordaan did not get the better of JJ at all - that is a complete fabrication.

I know my rugby and I know exactly what Jordaan has to offer as a 13

Two things.  If you try and find deficiencies in Jordaan - then forget about his ball sense and skill set.   You won't find anything there - because it really is virtually non-existent.

If you compare his ball sense and skill set with those of Engelbrecht and Taute - he is miles better than them.   Every objective person will tell you that.   By the way - why was Jordaan - who had a major role in the Sharks tries against the Bulls - not better than Engelbrecht who had a pityful game against the Sharks on both occassions.

You still don't get it - because they have bulk you pick the people with limited skills set and then hope they succeed.    They never will.   Taute has developed an excellent skills set for playing at full back - he is really not at all adequately skilled to play at center.   Engelbrecht at center is even worse.

Anyone who selects Kockott at 9 for the Boks needs his head examined. Sorry, but thats the truth. To say Frans Steyn is not good but then select Kockott as the Bok 9 must be a wind up.

Ha ha. good one.
