How stupid was Schreuder. You are on your own line, but have managed to hook the ball. Its at your 8th man's feet....and you step back. The Tahs roll over the ball Hooper scores. But not before the stupid mong of a ref missed a clear knock on by Hooper.
The Stormers should never have taken Groom off, he was a big part of their success.
The pack was decent today with Schalk and Steff having big games. That's the best game I have seen  du Toit has play.

But how absolutely hopeless is Allende's defence. All four of the Tahs tries he could have prevented.

Try 1 he misses Foley who offloads for a try.
Try 2 he is aligned behind du Plessis providing a nice gap for Folau to break through.
Try 3 We are down a man and the Tahs are in the 22 with the defence short on the right. He goes into the breakdown with zero chance of securing the ball....giving the Tahs a 2 on 1.
Try 4 Hooper is right on our goal line and instead of getting under the ball he stands like a statue with his feet nicely spread for H ooper to dot down.

A total defensive liability.  Zero defensive nous.

Even offensively DDA doesn't look close to the player he was last year. Had one decent run back into the forwards, but gone is the step or the strength in the tackle. Doesn't feel like he should be back on the park yet from that injury.
Massive amount of game time last year - and no off-season because of Japan.

It doesn't seem to phase him much.....misses a tackle and chats away with his mates as if nothing has happened. The Folau try is the heart of the problem. He was  two steps behind the line defined by Jean Luc. And if you look at the Beal try where Foley slips Allende, he is back on his heels. He needs serious defensive coaching help.

The Delande revolving door was woeful on defense .
Although it must be said that the 2 Waratahs centers had blinder games.Beale was looking good as was the giraffe.
