Seb Russian culture invades Chicago.

I went to a recital by the great Dimitri Hvorostovsky tonight. The Chicago opera house was invaded by Russians who comprised a large part of the audience. What a voice, approaching Pavarotti style dominance among baritones. And what a story, operated on for a brain tumour last summer, singing at the Met in September. It was an emotional evening, and appreciated by all.

Isn't he a great polished performer...lovely rich and manly voice...my missus adores him.

Old Mike will enjoy too as it appears he has good taste in music...Cloudy will appreciate too, I surmise.

Beautiful stuff Seb....he holds a deep note longer than any singer I can recall.

 You and your missus should take a trip there in July/August...you will be impressed...Moscow is breathtaking for the rich...apart from the art,architecture,history and culture...visit Moscow country club...great golf course...there are also many Irish pubs where you watch rugby...including the super series.
