After losing ot the New Zealand 7's by only 5 - 0 - thye must have thought that they had a great chance to go through to the semis. But they were goiven a 7's rugby lesson by the Blitzbokke losing 31 - 7 to them.
Throughout the series the Blizbokke scored 133 points and only gave away 14.
The Aussies beat the Fijians with the greatest of ease to go through to the semis' where they will be meeting SA.
New Zealand must be very happy that their earliest chance to meet the Blitzbokke is potentially in the final. They did not want to lose before that so as to pick up 19 points.
Whatever happened in the remiander of the tournament - SA will be in the top position of the log - since Fiji cannot gain more than 13 points - putting them at 152 points. Even if SA ends up fourth they will still gain 16 points - taking them to 153 points. If they win the tournament they would be at 159 points.
Next up Australia - I am sure we can beat them as well.
