Yes, Alberts played well, Bismarck did ok of his first game back. Sharks didn't offer much as once the Highlanders got ahead the only strength of the sharks, i.e. the rolling maul and keeping it tight in the pack were not going to enable them to catch up. They are missing some players also. If the sharks were able to assert themselves in the forwards they would have had a chance but this did not happen.
Better luck next time Jerome.

Alberts only played one decent half. The biggest reason the Sharks are poor is the deaprture of Jake. N ext reason is injuries to key players. Jake in charge and key players fit and Sharks would be in playoffs.

I haven't watched the game but I can tell you that you are totally wrong. Just wait and see. You will soon be told that it is mainly because of Frans Steyn and Willem Alberts that they are loosing. Added to that is the revolt that Jake White caused among the players.

Enspite of the loss, it was great seeing 'The Bone Collector' playing like that.

Jerome
There is more wrong with the Sharks than is right. I wrote elsewhere what was wrong in the Sharks team today and there is a definite need for serious housecleaning to rid themselves from the rubbish they have on contract.
* Centers are hopeless;* Zeilinga is a Vodacom Cup level player;* Loosies are too slow to be effective - any team can perhaps have one slow loosie, but when all three are slow - then the team will suffer. None of their loosies has even a remote idea about ball recovery at breakdown situations. * Their prop situation is an insult - Beast are at present the only adequate prop they have.

It's going to take at least a season to rid the Sharks of the poison that Joke White left behind. I know it's ugly to watch but be patient.

Rooitwit it is patently clear the sharks are worse off with Jake gone. Had jake continued he would surely have built on lasts years considerable achievements. Jake had far more injuries to deal with than has happened this year.
Please try and be reasonble rooitwit
