NEWS: WARATAHS LOCK WILL SKELTON RECEIVED A WARNING FOR FOUL PLAY IN HIS TEAM'S 30-10 WIN AGAINST THE REDS ON SATURDAY.

Skelton  was issued with a Citing Commissioner Warning for contravening Law 10.4 (k) Dangerous play in a scrum, ruck or maul, during a Super Rugby match at the weekend.

The incident occurred when Skelton made contact with Reds No.2 Saia Fainga'a in the 25th minute of the match at Allianz Stadium in Sydney.

A Citing Commissioner Warning may be issued by the SANZAAR Citing Commissioner for foul play incidents that are very close to, but in his opinion do not meet the red card threshold for citings.

Upon further review of the match footage the Citing Commissioner deemed a Citing Commissioner Warning was appropriate.

And so another season begins for Skelton. This bloke is going to get a bad rep with the refs & he will then start getting carded regularly. He doesn't have to commit fouls, he is big enough to hurt people  legally.

The problem is not huritng people illegally - it is when he hrits people illehally that he will be carded and I gain the impression that it happens frequently enpugh to raise alarm flags.

I didn't watch the game and don't know what he did,...... but if he's repeating his last year's foully performance against the saders then he's dirtiest than Bakkies

he deserved a red card for a tip tackle on Whitelock around the 20th minute of the game and after it he made 3 shoulder charges deserving a yellow each. He got away with all of them (after the match he was banned to 4-5 weeks).
An inexperienced saffa ref let Cheika get away with his trap and gamesmanship
