Meyer did not implement anything - bar perhaps to the Bulls style of play of 2004 in the 2015 WC. That was supported by his team selection - when he refused to select Lions players - but instead included duds "because he is aware of what they have been capable of in the past" - without any idea about what they were capable of in 2015.
Now suddenly it is a cultural thing - only idiots will call that a cultural thing. Watching school rugby in SA is a huge example of how the youngsters play. What happened after being wiz kids in ball play at school and in Varsity Cups? They ended up in provincial franchises where they are coached by idiots and in the test sides coached by idiots like Meyer and Coetzee as well. Remember Meyers' remark - "SA does not have backline players with the necessary ball skills to play a ball-in-hand game". So did the provincial and national coaches coached the players out of their normal skill sets? It is evident that they have succeeded in doing just that.
No AO - you are clearly totally deluded when it comes to rugby - so maybe you should just learn something and not show your total ignorance on site.
LMAO .
