So SARU...We wait until April again?

One can't help but think that SARU is comprised of a bunch of halfwit morons.
Last year they waited until April to announce the twat as manager. A bottomless excuse which he has used to justify losses that occured up to eight months later.
Come the end of 2016 and we were told that a full review was going to be held and that by the end of Jan an announcement would be made. What's it now, getting to three to four months since the last Bok game? Clearly getting rid of a coach requires more time than a team needs to prep for a World Cup. 
Was there a single argument in Twat's favor during that review? No, because the only positive that came out of last year was the Indaba...Which he at first claimed he didn't need nor call for. That is, until he realised that he could use it as a way of deflecting attention away from his own ineptitude by blaming the entire SA rugby system for the failing of the Boks in 2016. Bloody coward.
Still not a peep from SARU though.
Well the longer this announcement takes to be made, the more obvious it is that their lack of corporate accumen and the contractual hole that they dug for themselves will see the most useless coach in Bok history survive what should blatantly have been a fatal review.
And the fans are supposed to keep buying tickets, keep supporting the boys and keep the faith. Not only in the face of poor performances but amidst corporate failures, lack of transparency, lies and a host of other failures by our governing body and it's overpaid politico swines.
How far away are we from protesting at Bok games? I'll happily go burn down a few bustops and cause some trouble outside stadiums in the name of protesting against the the present status quo.

If the Boks and Super sides have another dismal 2017 there will be a reaction. V ery glad I have tennis as a favorite sport

SARU is utterly useless.  However, what company could function properly with the ANC bullying and interfere at any corner.
The ANC stuffed up Super Rugby by forcing the Kings into the tournament, and now they have stuffed up the Boks.
The best thing from last year was the Indaba- which is not to say it was not useless. 
The chairman of the Indbaba ended up in the coaching team of Italy who beat the Boks.....

 I phoned SARU this morning to try and get clarity on the issue.   They assured me that the decision about coaching staff has been taken (nothing new) and that the final decision about the issue will be announced within the next 14 days.
I also asked them about private sector involvement in the franchises and they think it will be beneficial and bring SA in line with the rest of the world insofar as ownership of clubs which are mostly private.   The story for instance of WP/Stormers rugby is interesting - it seems that 81% of the WP/Stormers assets in fact belong to a Remgro subsidiary.   That is beyond the so-called 49,5% that is being mentioned in the media and also beyond 74,5% mentioned in the media announcements.   

 So, they have made a decision on Costzee but won't announce anything until contractual obligations have been completed.
Well I guess that makes it all pretty obvious.
Here's how I see it.
Coetzee's way of blaming everyone and everything tells me one thing about him. He's a selfish coward.
I think he knows exactly how much blame he should have shouldered for last year's mess. Instead, SARU are now attempting to amend his contract and he is fighting them tooth and nail to get the best deal for himself out of the deal. 
Obviously at no point would it cross his mind that he should take responsibility and negotiate his contract from that position. At this moment he probably feels as though he has done nothing wrong and his lawyers, just like he would, are using every excuse in the book to argue why he should get a raise instead of having new or stricter parameters added to his deal.
What else could be holding this up? 
Maybe SARU should leak some info to the public. See what it does to the Twat's already abismal public approval.

Presently I have very little of said precious commodity. Between my business, teaching and streaming e-sports I get to bed at 2am most nights.

Plum, it takes about 5 minutes to register, maybe another 10 minutes to pick your team and then about 5 minutes every Thursday to check who is playing, make any trades or subs if necessary and choose your captain for the week.

It will take you about 35 to 40 minute initially to select your squad and afterwards it would take you 15 to 20 minutes every week to update and change your squad.
I took an easy way out and got the site to select my initial squad and then make changes to that - reducing the initial time to about 20 minutes.
I don't think time is really a factor and I try and make it easier for participants to put the teams on site every week     That I can assure yiou that take hours to d o - but that is my problem - not of the members - even thoug a lot of them actually help me in that process.   .     

 I'll give it a bash. 

 Better for them to wait for the end of the 6Ns at least to avoid taking a decision that could embarass SA further, if possible.

If the SARU did not have a performance clause in his contract I hope Coetzee gets every cent he is contracted to.
Just goes to show that there are too many square pegs in round holes in positions at the SARU.

There is normally a performance clause in coach contracts - the fact that it was not included in the case of Coetzee indicates some interference by our meddling by the politicos and shenanigans by Hoskins.  
Coetzee is likely to ask for deletion of such a clause and Hoskins was stupid enough to accept it,   
However - what is stupid on their part was the appointment of Coetzee in the first instance - they were too stupid to recognize Coetzee's incapacity at the Stormers/WP.       

The strategic transformation objectives ensured that there was a no performance clause. (At least not on the scoreboard).
If he "continues" proves to be the worst coach in Bok history- he at least is not accountable because he is transforming the team.
