Cloudy is spot on with her assessment, but to define it even more, there are more coloureds that  support NZ than blacks in my opinion, from what I have seen, and no, that does not isolate it to CT.

 Some Cape Colourds started supporting the AB's, because at some stage they were the only real opposition for the Boks. Stick it to the white man! Revenge for what was being done to them...small revenge, but it was a way of protest...better than setting off bombs in churches...when political change came, they were already traditional AB supporters, and you don't change your allegiance on a whim when things change...some are still p!ssed at whitey anyway.
PS, I don't think CC is racist, he calls things as he see's it. Holding back because you don't want to offend people of color can be racist too.

 PS. "Cape Coloured" is not a racial slur in SA...we are kinda weird about race here and some of our terminology  might be offensive to some foreigners at times, but we mean no harm. Our history and current situation compels us to place everyone in certain boxes. We don't know how to relate to someone if we don't know what box they're from.  

 Sometimes it's good to be offended...our skins tend to be too thin at times. I'd rather take a hard truth than a lie to spare my feelings. To spare someone's feelings just to be PC is just stupid....if a player of colour is playing bad, call him out the same way you would for a white player. Holding back because you don't want to offend because said player is of a different race than yourself is plain stupid...and treating someone differently because of race. Call it positive racism if you like...it's still the same thing. Sportsmen want to compete on equel footing against the best of the best. Getting favoured and getting shielded from critique because of the colour of their skin is insulting to them and their sport.

Went to visit a very Christian uncle of mine two weeks back. His wife proceeded tell me how blacks are philistines and the bible says blah blah blah about them. 
Have a friend who believes that whites were created by clever aliens and blacks were created for slavery purposes by dumb aliens. 
Have a bunch of Afrikaans friends who believe that no black will ever enter heaven.
My mechanic's family are part of some weird Old Transvaal Jewish cult that even has its own flag and believe that interbreading with blacks is a sin greater than murder. 
Once told my mom I was dating a Jewish girl. She said "Well at least it's not a black." My who by the way is the biggest bible basher I know and who takes every opportunity to preach the good word to me. 
While I was in Europe, people in almost every country I lived in would confide their racist beliefs in me once they found out I was South African. I guess it's my fault for having a shaven head.
I too am racist because every bloody time a taxi pulls a twat move on the roads I can't help but have racist thoughts. I read the news and see the level of corruption and the same thing happens. 
From my personal experience in business. I'd much rather deal with black clients. They're generally not as arrogant, more trustworthy and tend to give you straight answers. At any given time, white owned companies always owe me money but the black businesses I deal with tend to do as they say they will. 
Do I think blacks are less intelligent than whites? Well the lack of experiential learning and quality education takes a few generations to kick in. So yes presently most of the people who fail my courses are blacks. 
Are blacks less able to build first world countries that are profitable and safe. On current evidence. Yes. How much of that is their own fault and how much is our fault...I dunno.  
Do I dislike anyone before I've interacted ith them? Well that's just a fking ridiculous thing to do. 
Being a racist is one thing. But being a young'ish South Africa is something that that words like "racist" or "liberal" or "progressive" aren't nearly detailed enough to describe. Personally, I don't think anyone who has not lived here should even begin to pretend to understand or comment on the South African mindset because you are really so far out of your depth that you'll just end up confusing yourself.

 Well, Plum, Botswana seems to be a quite stable and well run country for years now. Namibia not doing badly either.

I know that Zambia has been the a good place to invest money for some time too.
