For the Championship decider?

1.Ox if he’s ready otherwise Boan 2. Marx 3. Wilco 4. Eben (C) 5. RG 6. Kwagga 7. Stef 8. J Wiese 9. Faf 10. SFM 11. Kolbe 12. AE 13. Moodie 14. Ethan Hooker 15. Willemse 16. Jan Hendrik W 17. Johan Grobbelaar 18. Tank 19. Nortje 20. Cobus Wiese 21. Morne vd Berg 22. Pollard 23. Edwill vd Merwe
I’d like to see Hooker at 13 and Edwill back on the wing. He’s injured but also seems to have been forgotten. I thought he has a sensational start to the test season. Hooker for me still looks like a center and potentially a long term answer at 13…Moody I remain uncertain about. His defense has been less than satisfactory 4/3. 8/3, 1/1 so far this RC, and I don’t see him adapting to the attacking game at 13. To me he still looks better on the wing….more a finisher than a creator.
Wrong Edwil is not forgotten - he has been out injured and played his first game for the Sharks this weekend
Moodie is more gifted than Hooker - Moodie glides
Hooker is more a 12 not a 13
The long term 13 will be JJ
Bwaaaaaaahaha . JJ Englebrecht?
Jurenzo is going to be huge in SA rugby
He’s already huge…and slow. Just another Dave call gone wrong,
Slow bwhaahaaa
He is faster than Hooker and you want Hooker at 13
Joke
1. Ox (If recovered from injury)
2. Marx
3. Thomas DuToit (Could start to contribute at the breakdown)
4. RG Synman (Could use off the bench when the game opens up, or start).
5. Ruan Nortje (Best lineout thrower, plays the whole match)
6. Kolisi (He has been playing well, but a specialist fetcher would be ideal).
7. PSDT (it would be interesting to test Nortje at 7, if PSDT was ever injured)
8. Wiese (Very physical despite limited brain capacity)
9. Williams (Best up and under in the game), and quick tempo passing for Tony Ball.
10. Sasha Fienberg (Needs more game at 10, to give players around him experience to gel.
11. Kolbe (Could have played fullback, to allow Willemse to move to 12).
12. Willemse (He needs another run, given how good he was at 12 versus the ABS).
13. Moodie (Improving on defence and slotting into Rassies pattern, but WIP).
14. Ethan Hooker (Perhaps bring him closer to the action at centre later in the game).
15. Libbok (He could easily cover 15, and cut the backline on attack to use his passing game)
16. Jan Hen Wessels (He is often a hooker, but solid at prop. Needs more game time before World Cup
17. Van Staden as backup hooker (Wessels will do the lineout throws). Good at breakdown.
18. Wilco (Could have started, but he does help demolish the scrum in the 2nd half.
19. Eztebeth (We need to give other locks game time before the next World Cup).
20. Kwagga (Could have started at 6, but he is great off the bench)
21. Faff (He has been in the squad for some time and needs game time to see if he can make the WC)
22. Esterhuizen. (Could have started, but would prefer to give Willemse more time at 12).
23. Edwill vd Merwe (A good bench option).
Given the game is in London, the Boks should want to make it a rugby spectacle, so hopefully Willemse at selected at 12 instead of Dumbian.
This is the team I would go with
15 Moodie 14 Kolbe 13 Hooker 12 Willemse 11 Edwil vd Merwe 10 Sacha 9 Williams 1 Ox 2 Marx 3 Wilco 4 Eben 5 RG 6 Kolisi 7 PSDT 8 Wiese
16 Wessels 17 Venter 18 Thomas 19 Lood 20 Kwagga 21 vd Bergh 22 Pollard 23 Kriel
JJ? What a blast from the past. Probably the best 13 since Gerber.
Mac, you haven't been around while Fattex has been telling us that Jurenzo Julius is the next generational Bok.
See, between heavy bouts of PornHub, Dawie watched some YouTube clips of JJ dominating at school level.
Then JJ got selected at the Sharks. But, very early last season in a game against Toulouse, JJ was chasing a kick ahead, and three random Toulouse backs ran him down like he was a toddler trying to escape with a sweetie.
Most of us, who have eyes, pointed this out to Dawie.
JJ is also on 178cm tall, so much closer to Kolbe's size than to he is to Moodie's.
So, he's a a shortie, who is very slow, and did almost nothing this entire season.
This whole time, Ethan Hooker was playing in the same side. Again, those of us with eyes, told Dawie that Hooker had dramatically outperformed JJ at every turn and would likely get selected. We backed Hooker, Dawie backed JJ. Dawie actually told us that JJ was "far more impactful" than Hooker. LMAO, I shit you not.
Hooker has turned out to be the find of the season for the Boks and JJ has been watching the rugby from his sofa somewhere in Durban.
There you do, you've been caught up.
YLDR: Dawie remains clueless about just about everything.
Stop lying you pathetic prick - tell me again he is slow
He is the same height as Brian O’ Driscoll you idiot and weighs 96kg
Hardly fucking small now is he
Yes, Dave...he accelerates quickly, but that's all.
It's why he doesn't get selected ahead of guys that accelerate quickly and have top speed.
Keep watching his school boy videos. Meanwhile, Hooker has taken to test rugby like a duck to water...just as we said he would.
He's slow. And for a dwarf, that inexcusable.
It is a question of who is on the plane. I saw a post with Dud and RG in business class.
How many players flew out. Can't be cheap if they took 35 players in business class
Moodie is more gifted than Hooker
Agreed.
I am sorry - but taking into account what Erasmus and Kolisi said about the situation - and they know better than you lot - as well as what Pollard said in the past - the team will be much the same as it was against the Argentine team on Saturday.
I like Hooker a lot - but playing for the S harks at 12 he was a waste of talemt - he is a wing and the wing is part of the triangle of full back and wings are there for a specific reason. I would prefer Willemse as inside center - but he may suffer from a niggle after being replaced by Libbok and I wonder whether Libbok would not be the full back of the future, We have many very good wings - but with Erasmus making the mistake of having Willie in the squad and he lost the first match in the process - he went back to the Bulls where he was not used on Satorday at all, I would think that bearig in mind the comments I referred to the coaching team prefer to have De allende at cebter and so does Sacha as well. He is trusted by Sacha as a solid partner at 12 - and your comments is plain wishful BS.
Tony saw what happens when the loosies become part of the backline attacks and that is where Wiese is not part of that set-up and I can see replacement of Wiese - which is not part of that scheme. That is where Hanekom and Roos wil be more active and I would not be surprise if he is also going to become a benh player in future - he is a beast in carrying balls in traffic - but not a attacker in the sense of what Tony see in playing backline attacking rugby,
The role for the loosies play in such attacks is why Erasmus sent back Roos to the Stormers with specific instructions to remodel his play to fit in with what Tony wants to see in him. And that is why he was so good on the match against Leinster on Saturday.
The days when loosies was an extesion of the Tight 5 is gone and will remain gone on Saturday. I will not be surprised if like Kolisi being the captain - but be used from the bench and Du Toit being the on-field captain as the case was on Saturday until Kolisi start playing from the bench. As to Etzebeth - I think that after the injury problems of Etzebeth earlier this year and esecially his concussion problems I think he would be saved to enable him to last through to the WC he would be sparingly used and may be on the bench more often than a present. He may even be on the bench with Snyman starting and I cannot see that happening rather than Etzebeth using to play for full matches in future.
I will not be supprised if Under 20 players coming into the Springbok set-up next year and that would replace the older players sitill used by Erasmus this year, In that case we will see less of Pollard than expected in the past. And I also do not see the 31 year old Esterhuizen remaining in the squad much longer. He will be 33 years old by 2027 and still be much slower in 2027 than he is at present. We have plenty of potential replacements of players under 30 to replace the golden oldies and the non-golden oldies and the screams of the site members to replace players over 30 years of age will be further developed next year and completed by the time the 2027 RWC comes around, The one player that stood out in that regard is Du Toit that on present form and not being injured will be a definite to remain in the squad for 2027 - players like Marx and Etzebeth are possibilities but not certainties - again depending on being injured or not.
I think playrs at present injured like Hanekom would not be in the November squad yet - but Steenekamp will be and there is new players to be a props that is a certainty to last through to 2027 and after his performance on Saturday Roos is bound to be in the squad in November.
What impressed me most was the performance of two youngsers in the scrumming destroying the Leinster forwards on Saturday when they came off the bench. One 22 years old and the other one being 21 years of age. On URC level Schickerling was outstanding for the Stormers on Saturday and he is under 30 ears of age as well. The Springboks will be back to play for their franchises after Saturday and will play after next week until the November squad is announced by Erasmus and that would strengthen teams like the Stormers who this year started the URC on a high like happened who until very late last season reached the top eight teams in the lay-offs last year.and lost their first five matches last year in the URC. With Sacha and Willemse coming back soon the team will be improved by a huge margin.
The Sharks team this past week was a joke in bad taste and is likely to improve a lot with the return of their Springbok players - especially Ox, Etzebeth, Kolisi and Hooker.
The Lions did better than expected against Cardiff - and will likely do much better against Zebre on Sunday.
They did much better than expected on Saturday.
We will see a lot of younger players coming through over the next six months and will find many of them playing over the next six months before the next season of tests in July and the subsequent RC in 2026. In the case of the ancient Chinese when they wish something bad to happen and was a curse - we are living in interesing times from a different perspective.
Buttplug you are lying his speed is good as evidenced in that video you pathetic liar
A dwarf at 1.78 and 96kg - again a fucking lie
He does not get selected? What the fuck you on about?
I'm not putting my house on Sacha playing this weekend. Matter of fact I doubt whether he'll be in the match 23. It won't be because of the reasons you and I think, it has more to do with what's in Rassie's head......I mean that bit about De Allende helping Sacha must be the new fantasy speak started by Erasmus.
Isn't Willemse injured? Something about a hamstring strain. No fullbacks unless Le Roux has rejoined the squad so likely we'll see SFM at 15 with Manie on the bench and Pollard starting.
Yeah Willemse, Hooker and Kolbe have niggles, Lood is back in the squad
Likely Moodie to wing then with Kriel back at 13. if Kolbe doesn't come through todays run who's gonna cover the other side? Is Mapimpi still with the squad or does Edwill get to add to his try scoring rate.
Mapimpi is there
If Willemse is not fit I’m guessing it will be Sacha to 15, Libbok at 10 - Moodie and Mapimpi on the wings - DA and Jessie at centre
KC
In 2008 I was in Australia to visit fiends and to see the Springbok test in Perth. The Springboks were on the same flight as I returned to South Africa. The coaches ad even the President were travelling in lower cost flight seats - the whole business class seats were used for the Springboks squad,
Since even before then all Springbok playes travel business class - so that is nothing new at present.
