Take a tip from Cloudy...afterall "every Cloud has a silver lining"...lolz
We lost electricity at 3pm on Christmas and only had it 2 and a half days later and on top of that phone line and adsl took 3 days to fix after many chase ups...absolutely disgusting, not even third world, more like fifth world...a real Banana Republic...this really was not funny...families that had travelled long distances to be with loved ones, sat in darkness...deep freezes thawed...meat went off, no cold, cold
drinks for the children and the adults.
PSDT versus Victor...should cheer Mike a little lolz
rinks for the children, those housewives that relied on electric stoves...roasts couldn't be cooked and no fun, sitting in darkness...even the pool was not not properly cleaned...total inconsideration...no contigency plans plans at all.
Next Christmas, I'm travelling either to either friends farming at Rhodes (near Barkly East) or the Western Cape to family there...KZN is a total disaster...everytime we thunderstorms or rain power goes off...this time the excuse was on Christmas day the weather was too hot and the overloaded power station blew up...weak muninicipal govt that only takes, rates, taxes, levies and fines from us and absolutely back...all revenue going to feather annual salary increases and bonus...looters and thieves...bordering on criminal.
Having got this off my chest...on a lighter note for Mike
