Virtually all the Merinos in Oz came from Spanish stock and are primarily bred for thr fine wool.I once shore enough superfine merinos that had been kept penned indoors their entire lives,sent them dotty as but a small bale of their wool sold to these Italian buyers for best part of a million bucks back i the 80s [who were there to watch me shear them ].The wool was used to make suits in Milan .

NZ uses linclolns and other meat breeds crossed with border Leicester and  Romney Marsh for lambs ,I have seen places get 200% lambing in a good year so big bucks.

Now lets be having Bryan talking about what he really would like to do with those poor sheep and it doesnt include a Braii I betcha.

I reckon hes got the shits cos he got called out on his sleaze.

What's the price for lamb in NZ? Here its about R90/kg (10$NZ) if you buy whole or half. For the better cuts loose you pay almost double that at R160/kg for tjops and leg of lanb. That's almost 18NZ dollars!

Rump beef goes for about R80 if you shop around a bit. Pork too ...for the better cuts.

Have I made any comment about the Commonwealth games? I live in a country whose fellas had the gumption to toss out the Pommie tax collectors 250 years ago. But it's nice that you are all still a happy family and that you were able to come third in the medal totals....hahaha.
