Go WiePie !!!
The article brushed the issue. While it is mentioned, it is skipped. Inversion in anything and everything.
All teams travel whether from SA to Europe or Europe to SA. Flight conditions play a part but up to clubs to manage.
On the other hand, the weather. Europe enters the most favourable weather period in the year to play rugby. Moving from a scorchy, humid sufficating atmosphere as SA weather is (30°c or over, high air humidity) has no effect on players.
Moving from the european lukewarm weather to the SA weather has a lot of impact on players as it cuts legs and diminishes the effort capability.
But what travels must be detrimental to SA rugby and not European unions. Or people will question the inclusion of SA rugby.
