And being at the Stormers is a good fit for Marais for more than just the reason that he is initially from the Cape.
“I love the way the Stormers play and the type of rugby we are being encouraged to play. Everything here is about skills and running orientation and those are my strengths and what I like doing.
It is nice being instructed not to kick and chase but to run and handle the ball rather. I am really happy to be at a place where you play what you see and you attack space.”
