Reds as I said thos eguys listed are only Smaoans who palyed test rugby fo rabs. Does not include thsoe who only played Super 15. It also does no tinclude any consideration of Tongans ans Fijians.

All this points to thefact polynesians are talented rugby players.

Another point I wionder about is the role played by nz talent scounts. You often get kiws saying these guys came to nz while young and were developed by NZ andwere not paoched as it were. However I would b every surprised to learn there were no nz talent scounts operating in Samoa, Fiji and Tonga (The Islanders).

However the competition is rising.  Oz is getting in on the act and there ar ea number of Polynesian players now playing in Oz.  I believe they will lift the Wallabys and their Super 15 sides particularly in the backline. Watch out for Oz.

One can't however in the end feel sorry for the Islanders as, if what the kiwis here say is true, they dont want their own show. I have always maintained a combination of the three Island teams would be a regular in the top five. They apparently dont want this and would rather play for nz or, now, even Oz. - difficult to understand but there you have it.
