Spiteful Sharks sneak past Chiefs; Rugby 365

 Not much of a game according to this report, foul play is bad for rugby.

 The Saarks were the beneficiaries of the physical battering the Chiefs took at hallowed Newlands & despite a typical, slithering, boring guppy display of nonevent rugby they squeaked out a fortunate victory . Dilemma is deciding which team was worse, the Bulle or the Saarks, yet both won by a solitary point .


Oh my gawd, now for the Cheetahs ................ how does a team go into halftime with a well deserved lead, then come out in the second & decide to play touch rugby with the home team who then run in 8 unanswered tackle-free tries .

At least the Lions despite their limited resources showed what can be achieved playing with some guts & passion . That was the hilite .

 I am not at all surprised about the Chiefs performance in Durban - they did indeed took a battering in Cape Town against the Stormers and you are right about that one.
Matter of fact - the fact that the Chiefs have to travel back to NZ and meet the Cheetahs at home - probably without their captain and their first-choice hooker - pose a serious threat of the Cheetahs beating them in Round 7.     I  would not at all be surprised if that happen - especially if the scrum laws are adhered to in that game.  As far as I can remember on the way back home last year - the Western Force beat the Chiefs after their SA matches. 
The Lions was to my mind the best SA team this weekend - after taking a battering against the Crusaders - they came back and beat the Rebels at home.  Would not at all be surprised if they beat the Reds this coming weekend as well. 
The Bulls must get their team selection right - otherwise they are going nowhere.  They have to get rid of Jane Spies, useless Stegman and Ouma Victoria Matfield for a start.  Provided they get their loosie selection right - they have a chance to go somewhere this coming weekend.
The Sharks can only get better if they rid themselves of Francois Steyn and start to get their backline operational.  Jordaan is likely to be ba ck soon and that would be a great help to them.  
        

if the cheifs  couldnt beat that overrated sharks outfit, than may the Lord have mercy on ur waikato draught baptised souls come round 14 & 18, cos the hurricanes sure wont.

the canes team of super soldiers arent taking any prisoners in 2015, so evacuate new plymouth when the hurricanes come to town, and dont forget to bring emergency gear when u visit wellington, cos if u cant beat that sharks team, thanb u dont have a snowballs chance in hell of defating the undefeated hurricanes.

 We will see Sasuke San  Chiefs will only get stronger. 
Glad to see the Canes looking like a more complete team as they will eliminate the Chiefs opposition.
