Has shame ever been a feeling in empoverished SA?

People could feel shameful watching this lack of rugby.

Does not seem to be the case in empoverished SA.

Ref biased in favour of SA rugby: keeping on an action to score a try while obvioulsy the whistle was heard is a yellow card worthy infingement.

Done it. Survived this cracker of a first half.

Deserving of a medal or something.

Best team in the world, best rugby players, usual drivel...

My impresssion of the new players in the team :-

*   Gelant in couter-attack was good - under high balls still somewhat problematic;

^   Fassi made two good relieving kicks

*   Kriel - nothing to report about.

*    Esterhuizen tried but he was still sub-standard as he was in 2018 and 2019.  The same problems persisted ball handling and isolating himself when carry balls - result 2 penalties

*     Impressed by Hendrikx and Roos

*     Du Toit - top class as per normal

*     The scrumming was messy and free kicks and penalties

*      Coetzee nothing much to report

Most of the "new" players has a positive rating - but Esterhuizen and Nyakane were negatives .

Very physically strong side the new Boks. So much good ball….but the backline tactics remain the same. Pollard and Etzebeth making much of the difference.

Agree the ref and the linesman….if the players are that adamant they usually have a case.

Well done Wales. 1st time Wales has ever won in South Africa.

Although let's be honest this was preparation for the World Cup. We know we can beat Wales with a less experimental team and combinations.

Some of the selections were silly (e.g. Manchu, Jessie Kriel, Eldstadt, Orrie....)

The silver lining was Hendrikse.  He needs more game time, and he could become first choice for the world cup
