You are wrong on so many levels, Ceradyne.I would like someone to call me something nice once in a while though, not sure sweetheart would be my top choice, but it's ok, I suppose.I, on the other hand, have never called a man " sweetie ", in my life.
Nice try though.....even though it's a bit weird that you are now imagining conversations between Mr S and myself ! I hope that is all you imagine  !!!!

I have heard it all now. matfiled strengthens the Bok pack.  Hahahahahahahahahaha man that is funny!!!!
Meyer is going nowhere with bakkies and matfiled. He is simply wasting time. I lose patience with his timid approach. Lood has been good and will get better and that is the point.Hougaard - he was terrible in the last test. Surely this is his last chance. Hougie a word of advice. If the coach is telling you to play like Du Preez forget it and go out if needs be in a blaze of glory. Play you r own game.

Oh so you admit them at last, Ceradyne ? Good for you !

In this instance, they truly fail you.
And you should be well aware of my feelings about Bakkies Botha.....your little file of comments should be easy enough to access

For the record, I haven't spoken, texted, stroked, kissed or had illicit thoughts about Mr S today  So the idea he somehow calls me and asks for backup is way off the mark.

I don't recall him commenting on my discussions about the War with Wardad or Religion with Beeno and Plum, to name but two discussions of late...ooh, or the discussions about Scotland with everyone ! So your Messiah complex went awry yet again, didn't it ?  Bit like your over reliance on Stats

And it does look unfortunate that Mr S just jumped in and posted a second before I did.....ha ha ha !!!!

No Stokkies is not injured, my guess is that he is being rested and that they are giving Mnisi a full run at 12 against weaker opposition......good player management. Poor Mnisi has played very little rugby this year as he has warmed the bench virtually throughout the year.

@Becs,

"And you should be well aware of my feelings about Bakkies Botha.....your little file of comments should be easy enough to access"

Maybe it is time to put you, (and Beeno, for that matter) out of your misery about my so-called exhausting full time job of keeping tabs on who posts what, saving the post in some sort of complicated archive and indexing everything for later use. It is actually common sense and takes me now longer than one simple copy and past action every few days. The new format of the front page with the extended number of topics made it even easier. The answer is very simple and I just cannot understand why nobody, or at least you and Beeno, haven't figured it out. It is called a spreadsheet. When I realised that it is a difficult job to get to old posts by searching on Google, I just opened a spreadsheet and started copying the front page and pasting it onto the spreadsheet two or three times a week. If you do a straight copy and paste, it even save the topics as links for you. Simples.

It is actually very simple. I have been accused on a few occasions of saying things that were just not true. One of the big culprits was my dear friend ou Maaikie. The result of his accusations is that I have, in the process, actually been able to expose him time and time again. Same with Dawie Kabouter.

Being able to search for previous posts on message boards is nothing new in any case. The vast majority of message boards have search facilities built into their software. It is, according to the Ed, something that is coming for this board as well, in the near future.

 That's as maybe.

But I find it quite sad really. And it is still an archive.....a spreadsheet compendium all of your very own ! It isn't memorised after all, is it ???

Memorised? How ridiculous do you really want to be?

The thing is this, you see, that you may find it sad that I have found a way (or would have wanted to find a way) to retrieve previous posts. The sad part of it, IMO, is not really in trying to track previous posts. I would say that the sad part is rather the need for constantly having to correct people when they start BS'ing to substantiate their arguments. Had it not been for that, it would probably not have been necessary to start looking for previous posts. There is also the old truth that if you don't lie, you don''t have to remember what you have said.

I get out enough. As I said, it take me a few seconds to "update" my "massive archive" and to perform my cataloguing.

It's not the amount of time it takes you, Ceradunce, it's the fact that you feel the need to do it at all.

When you say you get out enough, are you interacting with real people when you do?

I'm only asking because I worry about you sitting there in the small hours of the morning staring at the monitor with your eyes out on stalks and your trembling fingers poised above the keyboard waiting for ou Maaik to make his next comment.

He might have more luck than you and your Mills and Boon Romance novels, Ceradyne  I mean, really ! If anyone knows about imagination, it's you

You said, a while ago, and I don't keep spreadsheets so I am going by memory , that you remembered a lot of the info. Now, it was obvious you had some form of archive.....you do.....spreadsheets !!!

My point was always....why the heck woukd you bother ? If it is Mike misquoting you sometimes, oh who cares ? You could remember that, surely ? If that was your sole issue.
But it isn't. It is quoting everyone !
And I just think life is way too short to give a damn about these things.
That's all.

I do remember a lot of what was said. It just makes it easier to retrieve if you have links to the topics. You are fishing here, becs. I am not the only, the first or the last one to quote previous posts. I have one spreadsheet. You were convinced that I spend ours pn end to compile some sort of archive of posts. That is simply not true. An index of topics is not an archive at all. Not in the least.

"An archive is an accumulation of historical records, or the physical place they are located.[1] Archives contain primary source documents that have accumulated over the course of an individual or organization's lifetime, and are kept to show the function of that person or organization"

"An index is an indirect shortcut derived from and pointing into, a greater volume of values, data, information or knowledge."

I have already explained to you how it came about and why I kept it. Should I repeat it and see if you get it this time around?

If our friend was only misquoting me, it would not have been an issue. Fact is that he is deliberately twisting the truth and accusing me of lying.

As a matter of fact, you are also guilty of "bending" the truth to "prove" your point. Do you want a reminder?

In any case, go preach to someone else. I don't give a crap about your holier than though attitude.

Look Vlag this line of reasoning from RooiAAS is so totally old. It takes very little time to prove fools like Mike wrong. But the moment you do that you are obsessive or don't have a life. Mostly because they cant refute simple logic. I have a life, a rather nice one in my view. I'm sure you have the same.
But consider this. How much time has RooiAAS spent on trying to debunk religion on the Professor Lennox string....far more than you spent on your demonstration. And today he is still on there bleating away to mostly himself. He is an atheist, which is entirely his call. But how can somebody who believes in nothing feel strongly about nothing..you couldn't make up this stuff.

Yeah well. There is an Afrikaans expression: "Jy kan party mense mooi aantrek, maar jy kan hulle nêrens heen vat nie" (You can dress some people up nicely, but you cannot take them anywhere).

"But how can somebody who believes in nothing feel strongly about nothing..you couldn't make up this stuff".Interesting point Moz. Dawkin insists there is no purpose, no reason etc etc and he too feels passiontely about something. Bwahahahahahahaha these athesits crack me up. Its funny but also very sad.

Hahahahaahahahahahha.  As for writing ou rooitwit should try fiction - science fiction.  The horror part is when ou rooitwits kicks the bucket.

Oh dear, Ceradyne......getting a little bit tetchy there

Perhaps a good lie down might sort things out for you. if you're not careful, you might give yourself a Migraine....and you don't want that !

I preach to no-one. I also don't go around accusing people of having some kind of tag-team system and being madly in love with each other just because they are friends. That is your domain.
And I am not the only person thinking it is a little peculiar to devote so much time and energy into one upmanship.
That is all

Oh, and you are archiving data; you are taking data that us not in current use and transplanting it elsewhere to use at a later date. That is having an archive !
