Lekker Zack!

How good was his carry in the phase before the try...powerful

Scotland blew too many scoring chances when they were dominant early in the half. Same old story for them.

Some weak tackling and Josh Bayliss is in for Scotland. Russel converts and it's 35-21.

Scotland score again. Just when we were writing them off. It's a 7 point game now.

Boks playing like they thought it was over.

Kyle Steyn can't gather the cross kick otherwise they were in again.

Great comeback by the Scots.

Paul de Villiers back on for Vincent Tshituka who replaced him just a few minutes earlier. Not sure what the injury is.

Jesse Kriel gathers the kick, beats two tackles and scores. That's the game surely.

Nice finish by Kriel!

That might be the best try I've ever seen him score

Scotland make another clean break but are hunted down. There's a knock on and the Boks get the scrum with time up. This will be kicked out . . . no, Boks get a penalty advantage. Now it's kicked out and it's over.

Boks win 42-28. Hard luck Scotland. They were brilliant in defeat.

Dunno what I think about that game.

But probably the worst defensive effort the Boks have had in a good while.

If Jasper gets injured we're screwed. When he is not there things don't don't work.

Willemse isn't a 12

Yep, Willemse looked at his best in loose play on the fringes with a bit of space. He just gets smothered at 12. From 15 he can play that role too.

Hey, we beat perhaps the best Scotland side ever with an almost B-side. I fully expected them to give our defense hell because I watched the 6N and I know they can play. Loftus is a big advantage, sure, but the Boks still came through fairly comfortably in the end, even if our defense was in tatters at times.

Scotty though, like Australia earlier, blew periods of ascendancy without scoring. When you're the underdog against the likes of France and the Boks, you need to be more clinical than that to have a hope.
