Uncalled Forward Passes:
33:00 - Willie
40:00 - Faf (Lead to try)41:00 - Mostert

Kwagga: Was by far the most effective Bok; he should have started. Took the initial contact and got very good ground. Applied the most pressure at the breakdown. This was a game changing omission from the starting xv.

Mostert: His defence really kept us in the game. In truth the Wallabies could have scored an addition 3 or 4 tries. Mostert made many crucial tackles to keep them at bay, killing a potential lethal breakout. For a time, he was actually offering the most grunt.

De Allende: The efforts of the Boks to get width was a spectacular failure as the imitated the worst of past Wallaby sides by playing very laterally without fixing anyone. At first receiver he was merely a robot passing to Pollard, as a carrier he lacked power. His best carries were hunches as he fell into contact to get ground. He was hopelessly outgunned. ESPN didn't catch it, but he missed at least one tackle early in the game as he was run through again by Kerevi. I'm growing very tired of this mythical entity. A very underpowered back with no skills. Defending out wide he looked like a poorly programmed EA sports AI as he was so bamboozled that he gave his back to the try scorer. Damian has been absolutely blasted the past two games, but has been outclassed all season thus far.

Summary

The Boks had absolutely no grunt whatsoever. Their wafer-thin defence was yet again a doormat for the Wallabies as they ran riot and tore us apart. Not even the sixteenth man could save them as they grew and grew and swallowed us up. This Bok side is weak, relying on the boot to avoid physical confrontation in open play. They have been dominated on the gainline all year, even in the Georgia test. Our defence and physicality is inexcusably poor. Where was Thor today? Wiese was disappointing. The Wallabies coped well with our maul and dominated us in all facets by the end. Our structure, shape and connection on attack is exceedingly poor and well behind even some tier 3 nations. This coaching team has got to go.

When the opposition prop has better ball skills than your own backs, you're in trouble.

To think, Esterhuizen stubbed Kerevi out all on his own, shutting down the Wallaby attack. Also has great skills. What's José's excuse for selecting and sticking with Dumbian? But the structure is so poor, nobody would be their best with the Boks.

I must agree. I always liked Esterhuizen...I think he deserves another look.

I have seen some very poor Bok centres over the years; it's traditionally a weak spot in our production line. I have never seen a Bok 12 run over, dragged around, dumped backwards so frequently as I have seen Dumbian this season. Comprehensively blown away. His skills have been utterly shocking. A powerback? Give me a frickin' break. Am is becoming the next de Jongh; a bandaid for his shoddy centre buddy.
