Another good match…..the Willemse at center move didn’t produce much.

I'd play Willemse at 15, and Dups at 12.

Just one point - having a dunce as captain and the Connacht 12 yellow=carded the obvious answer is to get the 12 carded the obvious move would eb to get the ball out to the backline and then the fuck-up came - captaincy had terrible consequeces for the Stormers.

Lession of he saga in the game Roos did nore in the Connacht game than the three Sharks combind did in their game. Here are the stats of he two players:-

In the flyhalf podition toay by a mile Sacha was the best followed by Wolhuter and Goosen.

It is also clear that the numbe 8 posiiton belongs to Roos if todays match is taken into account.

Roos was quieter than usual...Hanekom was good...I woulf like to see a combo of 6 Hanekom 7 PSDT 8 Roos ...but if it's a pick brtween Roos or Hanekom at 8...I'll go for Hanekom...he is really a special player...although it is easiest to shine in s do.inant Bools pack...

Yedterday here waas a fie warning in rgw Cape are - hich means a windy situation. I noiced that Sacha missed kicks at goal and so did he Connacht kicker, It make me thing that strong winds made goal kicking difficult. Was i windy today in the Cape area?

Another issue I looked at both games and have t agree wih the stats in mind Roos peformed better than did Hanekom.

I'd attempt debating you but the last time you changed your mind was probably 1975.

Plum I am not Stormer minded - I think Dobson, Plumtree and White are defective coaches and I also advocate plaer fro the Lions, Bulls and Sharks as outside centers and wings. I like what I saw of players like the Van der Merwe's and Van Wyk are capable of, In a seperate item I dealt with that as well in some detail.

I also sa what White did to the Sharks in 2014 and why he was effectively fired by the Sharks at the end of 2014 bnecause of limied and divisive conduct in the squad, I am no sure how long White wil survive as Bulls coach of the Bulls - it depends entirely on Brits appointed by Rupert and Motsepe to look after their inestment interests in rugby and what he reports to the two main owners, Brits had a long hsitory linked to Rupert who at one stage was the main owner of Sarcens and he was on contract with that team.

There was a story told that Rupert in 2018 told Brits that he must renew his contract with Saracens for another year and then he ahd other plans for him in future, The oher plans were to appoint Brits to look after their rugby invesments in the Bulls - they own 74,5% of the shares in the Bulls franchise and provide money to conract players that got the Bulls competitive and I am not sure wheher White's contract wll be renewed by e wo real owners, prvding the Bulls wih millions to contract players, I pointed out int he past tha t initilly the Bulls contracting was ineffective initially and mainly dealt with playes like Morne Steyn and I am sure hey instructed White a Director of Buls rugby to contract Pollard t sign a contract with the Bulls as from the 2025-26 season.

I think the Stormers played OK...but the defense was a big problem...Moerat played better than usual, our 6 wasn't too shabby and our props adequate...backline was OK, but it's difficult to shine alongside Sasha...he totally stole the whole show.

Our props is not adequate. Kitschie, Bongi and Malherbe was our last consistent Competitive Scrum….

Sazi sands and also the newly acquired Mchunu are not strong scrummers.

Brok Harris and Ali Vermaak Are over the hill. Why doesn’t Dobson bring in TH Corne Weibach that is in the WP system?

Manpower - like White and Plumtree Dobson is a dolt as a coach. That is hampering the deveopment of younger players in SA.

Dobbo, Snyman and the rest of the coaching team is the best the Stormers can afford ATM...and we're getting relatively good value for money...
