Taniela Tupou comes on and immediately stabilises the wonky Reds scrum. This guy could go on to become one of the great props.
Stormers vs Reds Live
Klein Carel off after an anonymous outing, Stander on.
Willemse loses it in contact, Reds counter and end up on the Stormers 22.
Now the Stormers drop the lineout ball right into Reds hands.
Kerevi's offload drifts forward. Handbags all over the place now.
Stormers clear it straight into Reds hands.
Thanks for the updates guys.
Reds blow a big overlap by snatching at the pass and dropping it.
Cheers Draad. Jantjies taps quickly, makes good ground but again the Stormers knock it. Scrum Reds.
Coetzee penalized for side entry, Reds can clear from inside their 22.
Higginbotham through a gap. Reds rumbling aaaand the scoring offload goes to Stander who clears it.
Stormers looking vulnerable around the ruck fringes.
McDermott scores. Stompies defence has been very poor in the last few minutes.
McDermott takes a tap penalty and goes all the way from almost 10m out.
21-7 Reds.
Marais finds touch on the 22 and Stormers will have an attacking lineout.
Short throw, Stormers working through the phases 7m out.
Kolisi slips through, gets over the line but question about the grounding.
Held up, no luck Stormers.
Reds pressure the scrum, gets possession and makes it almost to halfway.
Stormers attack and wins a penalty 30m out. Stander for touch.

Now DA charges into a ruck with the ball already out leaving an overlap for the Reds on the outside.
Reds slot an easy penalty after their attack upfield, 24-12.
Stander sends the kick-off into touch on the full. Scrum halfway.
All over, 24-12 Reds. They dominated most of the game, especially the second half. Stormers had their chances but too many errors and a few tough breaks.
Ho hum thankfully I didn't waste time watching the game. Time for a big shake out of Management. Until the management and the coaching staff are up to standard we will never reach potential.
What amazes me is that professionals keep dropping balls. That they can't even copy successful sides. Looking at the players individually there is no good reason they can't be successful as a TEAM.
The question is, where are their big name best in the world players and why aren't they taking the game by the scruff of the neck?
There's just nothing/nobody for the guys to rally around.
That's what I'd want/expect if I was coach.
Marx gives you that. Duane gives you that.
Did Bongi, Eben and PSDT play? They're Boks, they should be standing up and pulling their team with them.
Wanna be called the best. Act like it.
Eben and PSDT didn't play today. Bongi came on as a substitute for Scarra.
What appears here is that the general initial consensus on the state of Aussie rugby was and is wrong.
Sometimes our accessments of the state of rugby in other countries are indeed wrong but yes this might be just a flash in the pan and it was just one of those days that the Stormers were off their game, I hope that's all there is to it..
All things being equal the score is a fair reflection. The Reds butchered their fair share of tries too when a simple offload was all that was needed to score.
The Stormers did create opportunities, they were especially unlucky three times: Willemse slamming the De Allende cross kick down on the dead ball line, Petersen's foot coming down in touch a fraction before he grounded the ball and Kolisi just held up over the line. Far too many basic handling errors and poor passes though.
So far this year they are 0/3, losing to the Hurricanes, Blues and Reds with a game against the Rebels still to come.
Last year they were 0/3 on their tour as they were thumped by the Waratahs, the Crusaders and the Highlanders and the year before they were 0/3 again, getting well and truly man-shamed by the Crusaders, Hurricanes and Highlanders.
Embarrassing statistics by an embarrassing team.
I made a serious mistake in forecasting a win for the Stormers on Rankers - when I saw the team I forecasted that they would lose the game on Superbru The Stormers without Euzebeth, Schickerling and Du Toit is not the team that could win anything.
De Allende had a good game though,
