Jurie with a sensational take.
Stormers vs Sharks URC 2026
Well dealt with under pressure by Fassi there
Ox has not made an impression either
Sasha being shown up, lacking BMT
kakkest 2nd half from WP since ma fell off the bus
Willemse has somehow made it to the MOTM nominations. I guess riding Sacha's coat-tails counts for something.
Glad you noticed umster. At least one eye is working. Hahahahaha.
Commentators agree the Hozen dominated this match
Jurie with a sensational touch from the penalty. He's my MOTM already.
Agreed Moz.
Beeno is very jealous of AE.
...but those in the know understand the value he brings.
Cynical gups get a yellow!
Vinnie gets a yellow from the teacher. Jeez I miss Hollie. Penalty try Stormers.
Where is Sacha playing now?
Sacha's at 12 I think.
Beeno is in Durban
Nice hit on Sacha by Jordan.
Beeno is in Durban
Prolly why he's having trouble seeing anything.
Korn...
Sacha lacking BMT!?
You I mean like in a 14 man side against France away from home?
Or against Ireland away from home?
Cumon now haha
JP Pietersen take a bow I guess.
We get one more chance to see Jurie operate and he slams the penalty into touch again.
I must allow him an off game. Pollard is not shooting the lights out either, but Jordan H has made good
Well I did see him make about two or three meters with one run.
But face facts he really showed zero on attack. Allende obviously is a better 12 and so is Willemse.
Esterhuizen is a valuable hybrid player more dangerous when playing 6. Take it from Beeno the one who knows!
Well done Sharkies, dominated that shit. Fun game despite the messy second half.
I must allow him an off game. Pollard is not shooting the lights out either, but Jordan H has made good
Jurie is where it's at, KC.
...the Stinpies fluff the final lineout of the game.
Sharks looking much better now that Plumtree is gone.
Stompies need to figure out to make things happen without Sacha having to do everything for them
How in the F is Fassi MOTM haha!?
The effect of Plumtree leaving for a coach in sync with the players is what NZ should be trying to do…always liked JP I’m glad he is doing well.
How in the F is Fassi MOTM haha!?
His competition were Willemse, Sacha, Jaco Williams and Phepsi. Public can only vote for the candidates that are nailed down by minute 60 already.
The man plumster says has lost pace is MOM. Congrats to Fassi. .
Plumpster having one good eye to watch rugby is not enough. Bwahahahahaha.
I guess Dumpster missed the fact Esterhuizen showed zero on attack. He couldn't even barge his way forward. Has Andre lost his mojo? Perhaps like Ox he is loafing?
Well done Snarks...good win...we'll take it on the snout...till next week.
that 2nd half ........................
well done guppies
Fassi was a darn side more effective than Esterhuizen.
I told you Plumpster that Fassi was having a good game. The advantage of having two good eyes and a functioning brain. Hahahahahahaha.
Well I did see him make about two or three meters with one run.
Check why - they put a big flanker on him and as I said, the Sharks didn't adjust to send him into a different channel. The moment he ran at Sacha late in the game he bumped him off with ease. Sharks don't use Andre nearly as effectively as the Boks do when he plays at 12 for them - you target weak points with your strong man, not where there's parity.
The Stormers are not an international side like the Abs, France, Ireland. They are a club side. Not one starting or regular Bok in the pack.
Apart from Willemse and Sascha no Bok. Reinach was totally sup par as he was last time he payed for the Boks.
Esterhuizen made no impression of attack on a, side below international quality. The truth is you can tie up a basher especially at test level. Your 12 requires skills, acceleration.vision etc.
I grant you Andre has improved his skills but for many years was no more than a basher up of some ability
To me, leaving out Kriel and Allende, the center paring of Willemse and Moodie looks like the way to go. Time will tell.
Congrats, Sharks, well played. The Stormers made too many mistakes and didn’t use their chances when it mattered most.
Playing Gelant at 15 is turning into a shit show. We need Willemse at 15 and to use a Jonathan Roche, Luke Burger, or Joshua Boulle at 12.
Can’t wait to see Markus Muller at 13 soon.
Jurie Matthee is playing very well, as always. Esterhuizen is leading the Sharks extremely well. A better 12 than DDA any day of the week. Not a bad flank either.
Stormers will be licking their wounds tonight, maybe Maraai in die Kaai kan give them the toothless special to soften their spirits.
Just hope the quality improves next week
‘Esterhuizen made no impression of attack on a, side below international quality. The truth is you can tie up a basher especially at test level. Your 12 requires skills, acceleration.vision etc.’
And yet you think Dud Allende is a great center.
Esterhuizen looks like the great white hope to replace DdA if you look at the comments on here...fine player, but he doesn't walk on water just yet...
PS, that little winger of the Snarks looks like an Arendse clone....
The Stormers chucked the game away up front .
Had they just won their own lineouts things could have been different. The amount of 5m lineouts that went wrong...that would properly tick me off if I were Dobbo.
And then there are a bunch of players that just aren't on standard.
But yeah, Andre was immense. He's the rock upon which you can build a team. He's in superb form and doing everything right. Very happy for him.
And I think it's clear that Plumtree was the problem at the Shark. They look a different team. Again, why did it take the Union that long to realise what had been evident for ages!?
One swallow doesn't make a summer...but there's hope...
