Its looking like the Stormers pack - still minus Etzebeth, Malherbe and Burger - are going to have to win this one.

Leyds at 78 kg Kolbe at 72 kg are very small. Johnny Kotze is no giant either. Then we have wee De Jongh and the two half backs are small. The Stormers pack will have to starve the Blues as there is no way  the backline will hold the blues for 80 minutes if there is no forward dominance.


Howard is still on loan to Munster. We need Howard, Van Wyk and even Taute in the backline mix. Keep Cheslin in for now and see how he copes. One fears for these small guys safety!

 Hahhahahaa good one Bob! I can assure you tha tif we dont get a significant foward edge we will lose. How can we go so small in the backline.Man I have left my cfredit card at the garage and should leave the rugby to go and collect it. If I do I cant lead ou Jw and brycy through the Brumbies chiefs game. can you stand in for me?

 Beeno: for tomorrows game against the blues, please make sure you haven't "left your credit card somewhere", don't have  a retreat or "business appointment", and ensure your dog/cat/canary can't escape. That at least will remove some of your usual excuses for not showing up on this board when the stormers play .

 Jw I know you miss my expert opinion and will try to not disappoint you again. I see from an article that the brumbies dominated much of the game which was what i expected.

The Stormers must get Howard and Van W yk playing soonest! Our puny backline will take a lot of covering by the forwards! Allende is the only back of substance.

 JW always remember nothing escapes the hawk eyed Beeno.Hawkeye that reminds me of wee jamsie hunt. Hope the oak is growing up Bob! Wonder if the kamp ss  board is still running? Their mole attack has collapsed in a heap  - accepted defeat I suppose. It could never have lasted long enough to get JW going as a mole detector!!
