Wehe!

Moffie suddenly jumping on the Whiteley bandwagon!

The problem Moffie has is the fact that Whiteley was put up as an alternative quite early on the thread, long before Moffie claimed that no credible suggestion had been put up - and in fact Moffie's reply to the Whiteley suggestions was this:

"That never worked against the Canes, the Lions were thrashed and the ABs are 20 points better.....how thick can you get. International rugby is a different game, that penny has never sunk in."

And yet here's the same pompous and deceitful old toad claiming he's the one suggesting the "switch to Whiteley".

LMAO! No doubt the self-important and puffed up old fossil will start blathering on about integrating x squared or something to try and deflect attention away from his shameless bandwagoning.

Moffie's responses on this thread to suggestions that Warren Whiteley be made Springbok captain:

"That never worked against the Canes, the Lions were thrashed and the ABs are 20 points better.....how thick can you get. International rugby is a different game, that penny has never sunk in. "

"It's already clear to anybody who knows anything about rugby that Whiteley is not a test starter, let alone a player who will last till 2019."

"Whiteley is a provincial player, who won't make 2019"

And then, after all that there is this:

"Read my post again......slowly Carbuncle.....even a 10 year old could figure out I'm suggesting making the switch to Whiteley."

Really? You're the one suggesting that, Moffie?

Ummmm . . . just out of interest, who is this 10 year old who could have figured that out, Moffie? One of the 10 year olds you took on that boy scout camping trip you told us about?

For the record.....

Timestamp in above Rooi Rooi post is 14:41:37pm

It "appears" that he is sober at this time of the day, which sort of defies both belief and logic.....

The only logical conclusion here is that he has had too much to say today, therefore his hands have been used more for typing instead of holding his alcoholic beverage

However..... I can imagine him quickly sorting out that equation by going out tonight and purchasing some straws....

With his problem, I reckon he is a pretty resourceful fella .......

Here we have Dumb Ass - exposed as the most pathetic attention-seeker on the board - trying to deflect attention away from his plaintive little cries for recognition and relevance by perpetuating Moffie's lie about my drinking.

The sad loser can't even make up his own lie!

Dumb Ass, sorry to be the one to break this to you but it's embarrassingly obvious that you crawled out of your little hole only so you could suck up to your master and get some support from him.

Unfortunately for you, our resident spam deep sixer and the self-proclaimed founder member of the Whiteley For Captain Campaign has run off to try and clean some of the egg off his fat face.

Sorry, but you're on your own at the moment, Dumb Ass.

Guys the only way to pacify Mozart is to do the following:
Bring back Matfield and make him Captain of the "Goats".
With all due respect I do not think the Whiteley will become the next captain as he has yet to secure a starting position in the squad......cannot see a captain operating from the bench.
Pollard is my choice. He showed his leadership qualities leading the under 21 SA team and also is unmatched as a sure thing at #10.
Cheers.

Oh sure lets pick Pollard and send him out there on crutches. As for Whiteley it appears the simple idea that Whiteley isn't permanent, but that we have no other credible alternative to Strauss is hard to grasp.
No bandwagon Lochte. You have what you want a team of newbies that are embarrassing Bok rugby.......perhaps picking Whiteley as captain and playing Marx will help a bit. But it's not going to change the fundamental plunge in our game. If you think that's jumping on the bandwagon you need help with the nuances.
But enjoy, this is the Springbok team you, Tokkie , Dave, Fartur and Carbuncle wanted....enjoy the glory.

This is getting too much.  When the oldies embarrassed SA Rugby, Mozart supported them all out.   When the Argentinians and Irish wiped the floor with the Springboks in 2014 an 2015  followed by the disaster against Japan. everyone else was embarrassed -  Mozart was not.   Now suddenly he is embarrassed because the golden oldies - who according to Mozart did nothing to discredit themselves - are  not in the team anymore.  What a farce.

I've come to realise that Mozart is quite capable of having a heated argument ... with himself.
The one side of his twisted mind argues for Whiteley as Bok 8 and capt ... while the other stands firmly against ... producing stats ... the whole 9 yards ... all to discredit him and prove his case.
He may even throw a few bits of fabricated nonsense in to agitate the other.
Should put him in a cage and take him on tour across the country. Make a fortune.

At least I'm not so stupid as to believe the Pom soccer team should be comprised entirely of Leicester City eligible players...or that the bulk of the Lions would make great Springboks. We had a fine team, you banana brains bought into Dave's lists. Enjoy the experience.

Oh dear, how embarrassing! Moffie is so dim he doesn't even understand why everyone is laughing at him!

Moffie, it's not a question of supporting you, stupidissimo. I know you've suddenly jumped on the Whiteley bandwagon but the joke is still on you. Earlier on this very thread you stamped your foot and demanded a credible alternative after Whiteley had already been suggested and you can't claim you missed it because you replied to it . . . your reply to the Whiteley suggestion was "how thick can you get?"

Only someone as pompous and as self-absorbed as you would think that everyone else is now supporting your call for Whiteley to be captain! We're not fools and we can read for ourselves what you have been saying about Whiteley. We all know you're a bit of a Johnny-come-lately when it comes to Whiteley for captain but it's funny to see someone so far up his own arse that he thinks Whiteley only becomes a credible alternative when it's him saying it.

Not sure if that explains why you have egg dribbling down your fat face but keep denying it if you like . . . it makes it even funnier!

LMAO!

I thought that you were surely being facetious, but I see you really don't understand...let me help. I was responding to the notion that there was an obvious alternative to Strauss.....there is no obvious alternative to Strauss. Whiteley is not that alternative, because unlike Strauss he has zero chance of being a permanent international pick.
Now read that again so it sinks in and let's go to the next issue, do we continue with Strauss now that he has declared no mas after this year. It's a problem because there is no obvious solution.

But there is an alternative because with Vermeulen's injury we have turned to Whiteley  as our only option at number eight. Even though he is not equipped he is playing on a temporary basis....so becomes an captaincy option on a temporary basis. And on balance I prefer that option, not so much because I think Whiteley's leadership is going to make a difference.....but because I think playing Marx for Strauss might.

There all nicely laid out for you to follow.

In retrospect one must give Strauss  credit - unlike others like Matfield and a string of other players he opted to retire from international rugby when he realised he was not up to standard anymore.   The Meyer's old hasbeens never realised it and like the present dolt Meyer did not realize it himself.
