if the older, past it players like Mapimpi, Faf, Koch, Bongi and Mostert are no longer being utilised then why are they being retained in the squad? I’d add Reinach to that list - he should be in the same boat as my list.

Surely it would make far more sense having youngayer players in the squad, gaining exposure, learning the systems, making their path to selection easier?

I don’t get it - discard these players and replace them with the likes of Julius or David Kriel or Tyrone Green or Jordan Hendrikse or Papier or Hanro Jacobs or AH Venter or Cobus Wiese or Ruben v Heerden or Vincent Tsituka or Roos etc

Makes zero sense to me unless these older players are actually going to be selected which I can’t see happening against the Argies
