Sharks definitely won this with smart and physically dominant defense. On attack things are still not running smoothly. Backline remains very lateral and they're still fluffing too many opportunities with poor options. A massive improvement though, they looked a far better team today.

Sorry Cloudy, the red was for an elbow to the face. Player was being held back by a Shark and he shoved the elbow back. Shark got a yellow, Mr Elbow got red.

Just to add, Curwin Bosch is a much more dangerous player in the #15 jersey while Damian Willemse is a much better #10 than a #15.
I agree it was more clinical than ruthless, but I also think the Sharks needed a win badly enough to be a bit more circumspect in going about it and securing it by taking the points on offer rather than boldly attempting to hammer it home. They were a team under the gun going into this game, this may have taken some of the pressure off.
