I've got Jordie, he should be alright. Luampe is an option but he is expensive. Lenoit Brown is a real option.

Thanks - Buills and Force Updated
I am considering Tambwe as a potential - but the Lions are having a bye in Round 6 and I already have three Lions players I have to deal with next week and Tambwe would be a fourth.   Will have to look elsewhere - but finances is a real problem.
Next week we will only have three transfers - which may complicate the issue further.

Ou Maaik, I assume you're talking about FoxSport rather than Superbru, in which case there's no limit on players from the same team.

I have Tambwe in both my Superbru and Foxsport team . . . just kicking myself for not making him captain last week!

3ku1, I have quite a few Canes players but I'm seriously considering benching most of them this week because of the high probability of a mudbath in Brisbane . Think the forwards might still score well but I don't think the backs are going to be doing a lot of ball carrying.

Thanks - the worrying factor is the Lions bye next week,   To bring in Tambw e means that next week I would have to bench him and my bench are made up of duds.   However in the OB case I am rather safe with the selection of Viljoen, Tuculet and Dunnie to play next week,

He's on the bench again though.

I also have Mohoje in my team with a bye coming up and he's worth quite a bit more than Akira so I reckon I'll rather sell him meaning Akira gets one more stay of execution . . . but he better get into the starting XV pronto!

George Moala is a decent option at centre. Pretty cheap, and he is a damaging ball runner. Blues have the force. And if you want a guarentee the canes backs may not carry has much againgst the reds. Their game againgst the Cheifs in Hamilton. In Wet conditions they were kinda nullified. I expect Savea and co still to score well. But don't go too crazy on the Canes. I still have a decent few in my team. But benched one or two.

Dan du Plessis starting is making me re-think my trades. I was going to trade him but now that he's starting I might as well play him and save myself a transfer this week.

By my calculations, if you use the max available transfers every week then you will be short of 2 transfers before the last round so it helps to save a trade or two if that's possible.

Ou Maaik, no the trades cannot be carried over but you only get 57 trades in total and I've worked out that of you use the maximum number of trades every round (whether that's 3 or 4 depending on the number of teams with byes) then come the second last round you will be left with only 2 trades although you'll be allowed 4.
All I'm saying is that if you get just 2 chances during the tournament to save a trade, do it, otherwise you will be 2 trades short for the last round.
I'm saving a trade this week.

Thanks ABasque. Let me know what you find. I worked out you'd need 59 trades (including the weird extra one we got after round 2 when we got 4 trades and there were just two teams with a bye).

yeah, in theory using the max possible in each round (or better said, weekend) we would need 42 trades when we have a total of 40 left

but the fixtures are a total mess (with this stupid 18 teams format everything is a mess) coming the I&B lions tour,... it's so complicated that I wrote to the managing team the following:

"this year with the I&B Lions tour, June's fixtures are a little bit messy and 2 rounds have been splitted.
Round 15 has been splitted into 2 different weekends, June 2nd-3rd on one hand and June 30th-July 1st on the other one. And there's not only one month difference btwin both brands of the Round 15 but there's also one game of Round 16 btwin them, the Hurricanes-Chiefs game of Round 16 is going to be played on June 9th.
The rest of the Round 16 games are scheduled for the July 7th-8th weekend.

So there's:

- Round15-A. 2-3 June. Aus and NZ teams

- Round 16-A. 9 June. Hurricanes-Chiefs

- Round 15-B. 30June-1 July. SA teams

- Round 16-B. 7-8 July. Aus and SA teams

How are you going to consider these rounds? and how many trades shall we have for these splitted rounds?
thanx

Suns out that is prob more inclinded to pick the canes. I am still struggling on a centre. I have gone Jordie Barrett. But not sure about that. Luampe I Was thinking. But would need to bring in a cheaper OB. Tamivulu is a real option if he is back for the Saders.

Luke I suggest go for Dab du Plessis - he i s cheap and the best option in that position.

Howdy Naru !Cheers for all the effort guys ,its overcast here but we havent had much in the way of rain since early this morning .Some freeways and various roads have been cut but buses can get through so hopefully if they can get the teams on the paddock all is well !Seeing as how I cant go out bush was debating the wisdom of trying to get out to Suncorp tomorrow ,will see how the weather pans out I guess .Good luck in the FF guys !

 B. Smith did not play, this was a surprise because he was listed as a starter. I was able to trade one of my other outside backs (he was with the Jags) to cover or else I would have being playing one player down.
