 I didn't vote...I was about to vote so either there was another vote or ED decided to piss him off without any further ado. At the end of the day what matters is that Taipan the Turd is toast.

Yes. Any new poster who starts a new thread has an x next to his name together with a count of how many votes he's had.

Once that vote count hits 5 his post is del3ted along with any other comments he's made.

I saw the X was something you could click on and did so. So maybe I was the fifth.Not sure I would do that given another chance. As utterly repulsive as ou tai pansy is, he has a right to make an ass of himself. On the other hand he played a huge role in the demise of Kamp SS. Difficult call between two considerations. It's still there. They must have lifted the restriction on seeing posts until you've logged in.

Last time I checked you had to be logged in to read any of the content . . . but I suppose that could have just been a restr iction on me personally . . . you never know with the Kamp SS moderators. They'll always find some new way to restrict, ban, delete, moderate or censor. That's how they roll.

Ja, but no moderators have complete control. It takes 5 unanimous posters to get rid of a new poster and your pal Voldemort picked up 5 votes quicker than most spammers.
I made the point on anther thread that the facility was made available to us to get rid of spammers rather than new potential posters and I won't deny I was one of the posters who voted for Voldemort to be dunped, but only after he posted this (in response to a genuine welcome from me along with a warning to get 5 posts in) . . .

When Voldemort was on 4 votes I took the liberty of copying the thread and I have it all available if anyone wants to see it.
This notion that he was unfairly treated is absolute rubbish, He was welcomed and told about the 5 vote rule and still went ahead and behaved like an obsessive little child (as DumbAss tends to do).

It wasn't put forward as an excuse, just a fact. Also, it's takes 5 votes, not just mine.
To put this into pers pective, there's a spammer called rriiffatt15 who posted some genuine spam over an hour ago and he currently only has two votes (one of them mine). Voldemort was voted off by 5 posters within about 20 minutes.
I told Voldemort he was welcome to post here and I warned him about the 5 post rule. He chose to respond as above. I have but one vote. Don't try to make this about me, Draad.

 Draad tri pansy has been one of the chief wreckers at Kamp SS. Very nasty peice of work. I would place hawkeye very high on the list. The overbearing moderation and changing of posts etc was always going to be a disaster. I logged on today at kamp SS to give ou tai pansy a rev. How the wheel has turned.tai pansy always rejoiced when somebody left or was banned. Now its happened to him!

 Kabbeljou is the nicest fish you'll ever taste.

Oddly abbreviated to 'kob'...caught towards dusk at Strandfontein on mackerel. My old man and I spent many hours fishing for Kob. You wade out as far as you can go and go for a long cast. This sometimes meets with success, sometimes with hooking into a False Bay shark.

We're hoping to spend three months holidaying in the Cape and I know I'll be on a strict diet of Snoek, Kabbeljou and Mackeral.Remember Strandfontein well, where were you living at the time, it's a long way from Camps Bay?

No we were in Rondebosch in those days....down to Muzies every second day either to fish or to surf. what a life! .... Don't forget the yellow tail and Mozambique Langoustines.

 The good old days....I guess we only appreciate when it becomes a memory.

Just to rub in the good old days....on that visit when we met, we stayed in our unit in St. James....walked to Kalk Bay harbor and bought our fish as the boat pulled in....had it cleaned there and then for an extra R10!

Nice....Ever eaten at the Harbour House....looks a bit rough outside, but the food is good and you have waves breaking against the windows.

 I haven't heard of the Harbour House.....is it near the Brass Bell. Regardless, tx I'll added to our list.

Its in the whitewashed building right on the shore above Kalk Bay Harbour....on the ocean side of the road. There is a gravel parking lot in front

 Fish are sparse this year, but I'm sure the next big run is just around the bend.

 I can go one better Denny . Back in the 80s a mate of mine [ a chef ] caught a nice bonito at the Urangan jetty he sashimied it soon as I administered the priest and we shared it with some rather happy Japanese tourists !Fishing for snapper in Sth Australia strips of still quivering snapper straight into the pan served slightly underdone washed down with Coopers Ale !Having caught it one self adds that piquancy to the fish like nothing else can .That Mozambiqe langoustine sounds like the go ,I was shearing for a local on Kangaroo Island and he would pay for my tea at the local pub which always consisted o 2 dozen prawns straight from the boat to the kitchen.Man Im blimmin hungry now gaghhhhhhh....

Buddy, you might have to join us when we visit the Republic....had a look at the menu of the restaurant recommended by Moz.....Price for a main meal is around $A20 and a seafood platter for 2 around $A120....cheaper than Mexico!

 The Blue Marlin at Miller's Point Simon's Town serves a mean seafood platter for 2 for about A $ 80

 Cheaper again.....seems to be the go when you leave the trappings of the City and eat in the suburbs. I think it's a worldwide rip-off taking advantage of tourist who are unfamiliar with places away from the city area.Sydney is a classic, I always tell people not to eat in the city, drive a couple of Kms and the food is better and cheaper...even the service is different.
