We drop to number 3 in the rankings behind Ireland and NZ thanks to that loss

If one loss made us drop to 3rd in the World Rankings, then we better not loose anymore this year.

It depends on who you lose to and by how much I think.

Yes, losing to a team that is ranked very low is devastating for rankings.

So if we loose to the AB that is number one in the Rankings, with similar deficit as with OZ, then we might drop below the Poms!

That will be bad anyone but England:) Will we move up again when we beat OZ this weekend??

I think when you lose to a team that ranks higher than you do, it has little to no impact on rankings. Losses against countries ranked lower are the killers.

I asked Chat GPT what will happen if we loose one of the test against the AB in New Zealand:

" Given that New Zealand is slightly higher-ranked, and considering home advantage factors, a loss by the Boks would cost them more points. Even a tight defeat would push them further below both Ireland and the All Blacks."

Ha ha Pakie:)

Gotcha Becs:) I knew you would react … but all jokes aside it will be tragical if we drop below England and mainly because of Owen Fagboy Farrell and Tom Curry.

Sorry Becs but I can’t stand those two!!:)

Don't worry, we'll lose to NZ, twice, probably one more time against Argentina probably while Rassie still build squad depth and being the Oprah Winfrey of test caps, you get a cap, you get a cap, you all get a cap. Next, Rassie should just hold a raffle so that African are in it to win it.

So which is his strongest team then? Bongi at 34, Kolisi 34, Mostert 34, Dud 34

He created this whole and now we are in the same problem as Meyer. Too many young players and to many old players

Realistically speaking, we should be able to win all remaining games. This loss to OZ must have stung badly.

And that should drive us so hard now that we need to give everything to win, win and win some more, to get our number 1spot back!

In order for that to happen we firstly need to be Humble and Hungry. Zero arrogance and Complacency.

Secondly Dr.Erasmus needs to get his bloody selections correct! Always, always pick the best team available.

Thirdly get that WC 2019/2023 defence structures back in place and fucking defend like your life depends on it!

If We do not get that desperate Hunger style, wanting to win at all cost BACK, we can kiss everything goodbye!

And 2025 will turn out to be the worst fucking year in Bok history….The year where we lose everything we have gained!

DB Fair Point, but if the Boks get their hunger and defence right, nothing’s impossible.

With all due respect, as a so called avid Bok supporter, your faith in Bok Rugby and there abilities, sucks.

Well to be fair you can be a supporter and have your own views on the team or squad.

The issue is the fanatics hate anyone to be critical of anything even when they are winning.

To be fair though I think that Rassie has made some selections that are difficult to accept and he by no means walks on water.

We just have to accept the fact that we cannot win every game.

DbD I support your remarks about not going six in a row.

Would be fantastic, highly unlikely but probably not impossible. I'm really hoping for 5 in a row to get the House of Pain monkey off our back, but even that is a tall order. Go Bokke!

Statistics are hard to beat...so make sure you bend them to your favor...

We barely beat them last year, in SA

This year we have zero synergy and almost all our older players are worse.

...and we're going there.

What we will hopefully get to see is what Rassie thinks his best side is. Surely, right?

So by next week this time, after all the mixing and matching, wombo combos and one-twos, we'll see what Rassie thinks his absolute best staring side is.

And then we'll get to see how that side plays.

Personally, injuries aside, I think we're gonna see as many of the 2023 WC final side as he is able to use.

Note how AE had one of his best games ever for the Boks in the first Ozzie game, but was gonna be dropped for the second Ozzie game until the bench needed to be reorganised.

DDA had a normal game for him, well below what one expects from a Bok 12, and the media appear to have finally woken up and called him on it...but I bet you he'll start both hams against NZ.

All I know is, Eben and RG had better be starting...BOTH GAMES!!!
