I am reserving this particular slot on the forum to advertise any possible PRIZES that www.ruckersforum might be able to sponsor for contestants in the American Secretaries pool of the Foxsport Fantasy Rugby competition.
Once you've registered, the league code for the American Secretaries league is SJCNUJ6A.
Please note that only registered www.ruckersforum members may apply for membership of the American Secretaries.

This is in keeping with Ed's desire to grow the forum. If you put your e-mail address up here I'll mail you an invitation to register to ruckersforum.com and enter the American Secretaries. The idea is that you forward that invitation to your mates, colleagues, family members whatever.
This also means that you have to give me the name of your team on this forum before you become a member. Please don't try register multiple teams for your multiple personalities . . . and you, yes you (all) know who I'm talking about!

Stupid margins.
Some good match-ups though.
Problem is we only have 14 spaces. If anyone wants to join this then you better hurry.
The way Foxsport is set up, when you create a League you choose between Head-to-Head leagues or Open leagues. 3ku1 chose Head-to-Head when he created and I don't think you can change that.
The Head-to-head scoring system is a fun way to play but only allows a limited number of members.
The Open scoring system is as it should be . . . a League in order of total score.
I've created an Open League called American Secretaries where the pool code is SJCNUJ6A.
Please join that pool as well as the original pool that Luke created.
BUT . . .
Here's the but. Only registered forum members may apply for membership of the American Secretaries.
This is in keeping with Ed's desire to grow the forum. If you put your e-mail address up here I'll mail you an invitation to register to ruckersforum.com and enter the American Secretaries. The idea is that you forward that invitation to your mates, colleagues, family members whatever.
This also means that you have to give me the name of your team on this forum before you become a member . . . so no kids Wardad, sorry. I'm up against your boy in Rd one of the Head-to-head contest so I hope he doesn't take this personally!  3ku1 and Ou Maaik, I hope you guys are okay with this and understand why we need a second pool with higher membership and the much better way of scoring.
Can all Ruckers Forum members in 3ku1's Foxsport group please join the American Secretaries. I hope to announce some great prizes very soon.
Register here and join American Secretaries where the code is SJCNUJ6A

Thanks Ou Maaik.
Can you (or anyone else) please visit the Foxsport's rather user-unfriendly "help" section and help me find out what the player limit of an Open Pool is?
I know the Pool limit for a H ead-to-head league is 14 and we already have that in the "Ruckers Forum 1" pool, but I know you can have more players in an Open Pool . . . just not sure if it's 20 or more?

Rooi, I think the Ruckers Forum 1 league can be changed to Open from Head to Head. This would make it easier as we won't have to update our teams in two leagues.

I don't think you change the team when you are a  member of two Leagues - the team stays the same and you are just credited for the same players on a different basis.
Except for the last two years we always had two League membership - one a head-to-head League and another as an Open League - so really it is not all that complicated.
