This was rugby at it's very best...World Cup finals are not necessary known for blue print rugby although exciting...this had all the dimensions of perfect rugby...are we ever going to see it again...maybe this year...12 years later.

 Ah yes...I hated every second of that match ! Honestly ! And have not watched it again since that day.We won and that was that. 
I would like to say that it was really a huge team effort....yes, Jonny kicked it, and it took a lot of nerve to do that under the circumstances, but he was beautifully put into that position by a number of other players....and Dawson played a blinder and told him to drop the goal ! 
So, he has all the accolades, but the team won it to this English girls mind, even my dear old ex neighbour Mr Dawson
