Throw a punch or play on lads. Shoving and promises is a waste of everyone's time. Now the officials will waste time checking something that was an absolute nothing burger instead of just getting o n with it.

Closer to the ruck is where the gaps are Scotty. Out wide it's all green.

Scotland finally looking to score, one offload short. Penalty 5.

And now they lose it. Best opportunity of the game gone.

Sweet chip to Ringrose, great score. Noticeable again how Ireland pops the pass in the tackle where most teams would just bash into the tackle and go to ground to set up again. Relentless momentum.

Finally a Scotty try. Ireland has lost their defensive shape just a little since the bench came on. 36-7

The benches have had opposite effects - rejuvenated Scotland and disjointed Ireland.

Yes, it is clear that Ireland's starting team is a good bit better than the bench.
Irelands defence not as good with the subs, although a few might be playing out of position as well

Job done emphatically, Ireland. Lost their shape once the bench came on, but that was clearly when they started taking the foot off the pedal as well, and why not . Few minutes left but I'm off.

They didn't lose shape. They just powered intensity a bit against a very good Scot side.
