Geez Moz you really do speak crap at times. We have PSDT bigger and stronger than before and at 2.01m and 120 kg he does not look like a lock to you?
Absolute balls, but kindly point out how you reached this absurd and inaccurate conclusion?
Funny how all are calling Vic pretty useless these days and you have him down as great. Vic is great and PSDT is not a lock.....you could not make this shit up.
Lambie was named S15 player of the week.

Are you sure you don't mean you'll be a fan when he's about 36 years old, Mozart ?

Mozart
This is the worst and most false assessment of players I have come across for years. In the first instance the attack on Du Toit's line-out work:-
"For the rest Stef looked okay, but missed a few lineout balls in the conditions. He still looks more like RWC loosie material in the Danie Rossouw mode for this year. He will get stronger, but right now I can't see him as our number 5 lock."
The fact is that Du Toit took 11 line out balls on own throw and 1 on opposition throw. "... but missed a few lineout balls" is what I would call a total misrepresentation of what actually happened - you obviously made the quoted statement with due regard the saying that the truth is precious, it should not be abused.
And Du Toit at 120 kgs looks like a loosie, but at 105 kgs Matfield is the "great" lock. What a load of baloney or shall I call it what it should be called BS. He is stronger - it is not he will get stronger - is nearer the truth.
"I checked every Lambie cross kick again. There was one good one....the one Odwa caught, but that was like shooting fish in a barrell....no Lions around. The rest were pretty poor. But the hype machine grinds on.....here is our biggest risk of losing the RWC before we start."
Here we have it again - a total misrepresentation of facts. The conditions were terrible and the cross kicks system gained the Sharks a lot of territory - but bar one (which you tried to downplay) they were "pretty poor" according to the false prophet on this site. You cannot help attacking Lambie - now can you?
Same with Reinach - who according to you made a "mountain of mistakes". That again is in plain language utter BS.
De Allende made one high tackle - so that becomes career-defining again. Typically Mozart.
Another false assessment is that on Matfield. Is it the main task of a lock to make "process tackle s"? What was the quality of the tackles? In my book weak and unproductive. His lack of physicality made him useless in the Tight 5 and his ball carries became non-existent. He was brave on Saturday and he took 6 line out balls on own throw - he did call more line out balls to himself this week than we became used to in the EOYT and last Saturday, and he did take one line out on opposition throw - the latter being useless because of inaccuracy. On the other hand Broadhurst took one line-out ball from Matfield.
To expect any fair and objective player assessments from you is impossible and in this case the statements can only be categorized as BS. I used strong terminology - but the ludicrous statements made by you is deserving of strong terminology.

I was on about your laughable take on PSDT.
It's the worst take I have seen in months, it's literally laughable. What makes it even more of a laugh is the fact that you find favour in Matfield. The fact that you are alone on your takes regarding Vic and now PSDT about sums it up.
As for Lambie he had a great game in shit conditions. The lad is a class act. Twice the 10 Morne ever was. But your pattern continues here you find favour in useless Morne over Lambie....you really do have a strange perception of rugby players most of which makes little sense.

Time will tell, and a game against the lowly Lions certainly won't. But those performances were hyped to the max. Hell the cross kicke weren't even particularly good.

Lambie proved himself ages ago. He has little to prove moving forward. He certainly offers far more raw material than Morne ever possessed.
Lambie's biggest issue is the presence of Goosen and Pollard. There is little to choose between them

Rubbish he never lost us the Welsh test that was Meyer and his pathetic selections. Lambie was great against England as Goosen was against Oz. Pollard has the slight edge given his physicality but all 3 are world class 10's.

I would much rather have Lambie in the WC squad than the clueless floundering Morne Steyn and the even worse Francois Steyn.
