The Bulls and the Stormers - do they have a future in Super Rugby

The sickness introduced by Meyer in the WC - namely the usage of loose forwards and in rare other cases the Tight 5 players taking over the role of the flyhalf - is back in force in the Bulls and Stormers teams with a vengeance.   It went so far as Naas saying at halftime that the 6,7 and 8's taking over the role of the flyhalf - neutralizing the backline completely.
Let me start with the Stormers game a week before.  The same BS happened their disastrous draw against the Sunwolves.   The one time when De Allende got the ball from the flyhalf and started an attack in the last minute of the game - he passed the ball to Burger with a double overlap outside of him - Burger did not pass the ball and crashballed a meter out.  By some luck the outside backs and De Allende got the ball back to Koch who scored a try.
Yesterday the same thing happened in the second half of the Sharks game.  The try-scoring spree of the Sharks came to a dead stop when in the second half they reverted to the same dead end rugby.   In the second half not a single ball was passed to the outside backs of the Sharks and April was part of the reason - he forgot there were players outside of him.
 The same rubbish was in over-supply yesterday in the Bulls and Stormers game.  Both teams were eqully guilty of it and their disastrous performances over the last few weeks is entirely due to the rubbish they dished up in matches.   Yesterday the only try scored by the Stormers came about by accident.  There was for some reason or another not a forward in the backline to prevent the ball going to De Allende who scorerd a easy try.
So where are these to teams going.  One of them will be in the play-offs - but they will be beaten easily unless the junk they produce is not dealt with and eliminated.   
The Stormers is even worse than the Bulls - they have sub-standard loosies and that accounts for part of the junk rugby they produce.  Burger is their best loosie - but he is way past his best and the Stormers supporters scream blue murder about that statement - but it is factual.             

 The new Bulls coach showed signs of bringing something fresh to the team ... playing 15 man rugby.
That seems to have died a miserable death.

 Do you chaps reckon they're trying to emulate NZ style rugby where forwards are expected to have the same passing and running skill as the backs ?On top of their normal duties too ? 

 Mike this was a very physical gaem. One that no nz side could have endured given their pap packs. 
I am not worried about the Bulle they are on the rise. I am concerned about the poor selections of the Stormers - are they quota enforced must be asked .Three microlight forwards decimating their pack and inadequate backline. Like to see Kolbe at scrummie and and Senatla back on the wing. Then we need a second centre and a 15. Huw Jones could be the better bet at 13.

Whomsoever is in the backline is in fact immaterial as long as the loosies pretend they are flyhalfs or fiddling around in the backline.  That is - like the case was in the past era with Matfield - a neutralizer of backline play and it prevents the scoring of essential tries to win matches. 
 

 Good title & question CleverMike, even if a little provocative  even the stormers most rabid "build a wall" type fan is casting an envious eye to the Lions & kiwi teams. Are the Bulls & wee stormers about to go the way of the dinosaur? They must evolve to survive, history tells us this
