The difference was a couple of unforced errors.

Which is different to the Boks getting outmuscled, outrun or outthought.

NZ hardly ever went forward with ball in hand. Yes they won, but in terms of how they won and w hat it means for the competition going forward, I'm not too concerned.

Come on guys, the Boks played pretty well for a first game, it was sloppy in parts. Seemed like once the ABs figured out how to deal with the pinch defense it was game over. Boks didn't score enough points during the really period when they were dominant. Hansen put his replacements in early as he wants all players to get game time in prep for the knock out stage. A good warn u game and we may see you in the final.

Kicking anyway possession and poor/weak/shit passes from Faf and company resulted in the AB's gaining possession and scoring.

du Toit and Kolbie stood out as players but the rest were absolutely poor........and that is the truth.

To beat a team like the AB's you need players to stand up to the challenge not just one or two guys......but all 15 players.

But I honestly cannot see this Springbok squad winning the WC.

Two errors cost us dearly. 

Willie's shockingly bad pass to Cheslin cost us 7 points. 

Pollard hit the points with a conversion. 

We won both territory and possession and won the second half.

It was good to have NZ win the last two cups and build them up as the best sporting team in the world. Great for business. Remember Joubert's blind face robbing of France? 

However, a third success won't add anything more to this. It'll only decrease interest in the North...where the money is.

Yesterday's game was the set-up. It will help to balance out the later games when NZ are completely blown up for everything. I can practically guarantee that there will be articles published about how NZ can't complain(when they get fucked over) since evidence from the same tournament proves how it swings in roundabouts.

If SA had gone into the Cup as favorites, we'd have gotten the calls yesterday.

The Allblacks onlu dominated the 15 minutes after their first luckey try...against the run of play...then they got another lucky try shortly after.  Then the Boks had to play catchup.  Good win by the Allblacks and well played, but some luck were involved and the definitely did not embarrass the boks....and the reff missed plenty in the first 20min...or he decided to ignore scrum rules. A couple of justified scrum penalties in the first 20 might have resulted in a different outcome...ad the extra seconds  the ref gave the Allblacks on the deck...bring on the final already!

You need more than a bit of luck to beat them. ...and if it's not clear in my previous posts, I think NZ played well and deserved their win, but they did not humiliate the Boks, and yes, I think some luck went their way....you need some luck in these close encounters. 

Most of the Kiwi blokes (and Cloudy) on this site are decent guys and good sports to boot, but they've got a few sore losers and ungracious winners amongst them too....they're human.
