He dreams them up and then claims that is factual.   The unfortunate fact is that it is the same with Mozart  -  he has the same problem with his pet hate players.  Remember the classical case of the long neck and thin shoulders of  Du Toit.   And then there is the "discovery" of incidents in games that nobody else have seen and the endless BS stemming from that discovery.

It is time for them to up their game  and be honest and objective when discussing players performances .

"Pet hate players"

That, or maybe players with issues being exposed. One side of these discussions provides ample information for review, the other barking mouths. What does that say?

No tests then.....in 16 starts as a combination, no tests they made winning contributions. This combination has been a disaster for Bok rugby.

It's sad that this is four tests away from being our second most played combination. Let that sink in!

Esterhuizen and Am have only played twice together. Our best centre pairing. Scandalous .

Good enough to stand toe-to-toe with the best midfield in SH rugby.

So dimwit

He has to tackle standing up - madness when Steyn tried that when trying to tackle De Allende and ended up landing on his arse twice in one game, but that you tried to hide away so lets go to another stat.   In 2015 at the WC De Allende came third in the number of breakdown turnovers won/  Hw does a backline player wit weak upper body strength do that one?

I warned you umpteenth tome that your BS is easily exposed and you are in need of treatment for illiterate rugby knowledge.  LMAO - the Idiot Speaker got caught out again twice LM AO.

Show me where Damian has displayed strong upper body strength, not latch onto an exposed ball. You have no answer, because it doesn't exist.

It would appear from a casual scan that we have never won a Rugby Championship match with Allende and Kriel starting as a centre partnership. But we have lost 4 Rugby Championship matches with them as the starting centre pair.....disastrous.

Absolutely TOOTHLESS.

Duh Allende is the definition of stampkar rugby.

Head down, tractor, slow squeeze ball or eats up the space for those outside him.

2 passes against the AB'S last weekend and people ask why we can't score??

The chap is a dead end for the ball. More of a bus depot than the bus.

Allende is a bit of a mystery. In 2015 he offloaded quite well in Super rugby. Then lost it. Then he started making a few turnovers and lost it. This Super season he put in a few decent tactical kicks...which no doubt is another passing phase. What never changes is the toothless tractoring. And as you correctly point out he is a no passing zone, a dead end, the cul de sac of centres.

Xavi

Don't become idiotic too.  Nobody could play in any backline when Meyer was coach,  He forbid players to off-load balls in the WC games - and he had a game plan that cut them out totally in that's series.

Even Pollard suffered badly in 2015 and usage of his skills were not to be used at all.   Take the following example from the WC semi as an example of what Meyer allowed in gamers.  In that game  Du Preez passed the ball 50 times - Pollard handled the ball 21 times - of which 7 possessions were  kicked ball recoveries.  On the whole game Pollard passed the ball  6 times and kicked the ball 12 times.

How the hell can any backline function with that kind of BS being forced onto them by a useless coach?   There were as a result only two backline players who made any significant ball carries that day, namely -

*    Pollard -  6 carries making 21 meters - making a clean break and beating  1 defender; and

*    De Allende -  8 carries making 28 meters - making a clean break and beating 2 defenders,

It is obvious that both players were in jeopardy because of how they were allowed to play.   Over the next two years De Allende played a few tests under another delinquent coach and Pollard virtually never played anything  in 2016 and 2017.

It is only in 2018 that things improved drastically under Erasmus and in both 2018 and 2019 that the Springbok backline started functioning again.    Pollard is a vastly improved player from what he was in 2015 - while there are promising signs that the backline is functioning better and is producing positive results:-

*   In 2018 the Springboks scored 31 tries as against the 22 scored in 2012;

*   For the first time in a decade the Springboks are in fact real contenders for the RC trophy - something totally out of reach in the Meyer and Coetzee years.

*   The Springboks plays a more comprehensive game and the AB experts regard the De Allende and Kriel backline combination particularly difficult to contend with, while our on site "experts" have been maligning them for years - mostly using distortions and deception as a basis for their stories.

Anybody giving Steyn a rating of 7 for the test last week for the zero he produced  has done that with false intentions and that is what the odious idiots did.   The n passing game is another deception by a habitual liar and you fall for it.   Shame on you.

"Nobody could play in any backline when Meyer was coach,  He forbid players to off-load balls in the WC games"

Scotland: 4 offloads
Samoa: 10 offloads
Japan: 10 offloads
USA: 7 offloads
Wales: 7 offloads

My word Lügnerin, what next? I'll give you another ten minutes to concoct another botched lie.

"Take the following example from the WC semi as an example of what Meyer allowed in gamers."

You mean the game where your master plan was to pass the ball wide against the best defence in the world at that time? A defence that comprehensively shut down the best attack in world rugby that year. A defence which only conceded the fewest tries: 3? What happened to the Boks when they followed your plan? The first ball that goes wide goes to Damian, the man who runs over forwards, who got smooshed, turned over and the Welsh run it back to within an inch of our try line. You wonder why Meyer kept it tight? He also had stone-for hands Lood de Treetrunk who botched two clear opportunities in the Welsh 22. Why do you do this to yourself?

"It is only in 2018 that things improved drastically under Erasmus and in both 2018 and 2019 that the Springbok backline started functioning again."

Actually, the Bok attack - using the ball in functional attacking play isn't exclusively a "backline" thing - is the worst it's been since Straeuli. The attacking output is worse than under Coetzee and worse than Peter and Meyer or Jake. When and where is this bumbling Skop 'N Pop gameplan a success? Not even with the luxury of the weakest period in SANZAR history can Rassie produce. We have never had both New Zealand and Australia simultaneously weakened, and we've never had a Wallaby side this lacking in the history of the professional era. Even with this, the Boks languish in last place on every attacking statistic this year and are set to produce less than the 2015 Boks. What's shocking about that is rugby experienced a shift post-2015, where attacking numbers were inflated.

Rassie has simply turned the Boks into the Stormers, the worst attacking side in super rugby. I used to blame Coetzee for that dour rugby, all these years I thought Rassie was the innovator and ideas man. The one who would instil some life into the attack. Now that I've seen the two of them independent of one another, I can see it was the opposite: Coetzee was the idealistic visionary with an attacking mindset and Rassie was the bland anti-rugby influence. Coetzee really was a figurehead afterall. Chew on that Lügnerin!

"The Springboks plays a more comprehensive game and the AB experts regard the De Allende and Kriel backline combination particularly difficult to contend with"

Why don't we consult Jean for an insight? Afterall, he has played with both players, and has been part of the Bok setup. When Pollard shifted to 12 and Jantjies played at 10 on the EOYT, Jean remarked that we'd now see the ball getting to the outside backs, go wide. There you go, Jean does not rate Damian as a 12, but an impediment to attacking rugby. Not a surprise as he has been comprehensively exposed as a non-existent defender and bumbling oaf ball-in-hand. Imagine that, Jean doesn't rate one of the least successful centre pairings in Bok rugby history.

You tried, you really did. No matter how many times you repeat these old worn out lies, you come undone. Now here is the part where you mash your keyboard, squeal and sling mud in rage, triple posting.

No comment on BS Idiot Speaking  just ask Vermeulen about the statement he made in the media about off loads being forbidden in the major games.   LMAO about total distortion about what really happened under Meyer and Coetzee and is happening at present.

@ moron mike,

Was Meyer the coach on Saturday 28/07/2019 against the ABs?

That game Allende ran 7 times for 18 meters and passed the ball twice. No clean breaks, no defenders beaten.

Looking at the numbers you've posted above, if anything He's worse under Erasmus.

Draad

I know I should not get involved in discussions of this nature - however, the constant attacks on Erasmus and some players are sickening.  They have no regard to reality and can at best be described as a variation between distortion and lies.

I am not particularly supporting players like De Allende - but when lies are spouted about them I would always defend them  and when Erasmus record as a coach is distorted I would always defend him as well.

What has been sickening? Speaking the truth is now sickening. You have been exposed at every turn. Its ridiculous the lengths you'll go to lie. Now Damian was playing lock. Why say that? You're dishonesty is appalling.

Nobody has distorted Rassie's record. Rather, you inflate it, and attempt to completely revise history to support that bloated lie. Unfortunately for you, it's very easy to pop that bubble!

Oh so it's all HMs fault? Funny then Muck that two of the four losses in the Rugby Championship with Allende and Kriel as the starters have come under Eraser. And of course this partnership has never produced a Rugby Championship win. Hell even Kriel with other partners has won 5 times. Lesson! Allende and Kriel have been very disappointing Springboks, but the combination of Kriel and Allende seems to accentuate all their worst attributes.
