Yep, I've seen it & enjoyed it, not having a clue that it was filmed in SA . Far too few Westerns are made nowadays . Another recent one was 'The Homesman' starring grizzly ole Tommy Lee Jones .
As a further diversion from rugby here are hilites from imo. the finest movie ever to be made in SA ( & the accompanying music aint 'alf bad either ) .

Have any of you seen a movie Catch a fire? A appartheid era movie filmed in Southern Africa. A decent movie even though not great, but one thing that struck me was Tim Robbins ability to pull off a South African accent. After the ridiculous attempts by more renowned actors like Leonardo DiCaprio and so on, it was very refreshing to see an american actor actually get it right. It would appear that the South African accents, English spoken with either the English or Afrikaans accent, are very difficult for foreigners to duplicate.
Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I remember my first excursion overseas, living & working with NZers & Aussies in London & their disgust with me, cos for quite some time I was unable to distinguish the difference between their two accents .

Also Blood Diamond (2006)...Di Caprio was in it too...although I'm not a fan of his but he is a top billing performer.

The Gods must be Crazy was enjoyable Saffex...really funny in parts...when litterbug Schalk Burger threw the bottle out of the aircraft and caused upheaval...lolz.
Jamie Uys was a genius in subtle SA humour...the nice side of South Africans...I'm sure expats get a little homesick when they watch these movies

Loved watching that movie again........that scene when the lioness chases the 3 of them and the 2 hide under the vehicle only to have the one guy jump in and drive off leaving them stranded is a hoot, much like the 1 guy climbing the tree to get away from the lioness only to have the tree bend within reach of the lioness.
