The implications of rugby only posts....

Just a caution. Vote for rugby only posts in the top section and we will demand not only rugby only strings, but rugby only postings. No more attacks on Jarpies, no more mocking of Hasbeen, no more comments on anthems, no more political asides, no jokes.....nada. Not one posting of that kind is acceptable in a string.....no more of the JW banter. It's going to be a boring place, but if we are going to do it, we are going to do it with rigour. Consider your vote, We are on the way to spoiling a relaxed pleasant experience.

A vote wasn't even necessary. The names of the various forums are there for all to see. They weren't created for nothing. Now just conform and stop being such a drama queen or else ship out .

My opinion on this is that the rugby section of the board should be about rugby but that includes related banter, jabs, (Moz vs CleverMike), etc. as most of them are in some way related to rugby.

Some might say "ban it" but I disagree.
Other sports like cricket, etc. should be in that section but I am not bothered about the occasional exception (especially during the SH rugby off season as there is almost nothing going on rugby-wise.
The political stuff & topics such as climate change should be down in the Beeno insanity section
I agree with Sharkbok on his point about those who visit our board being put off by the current state of affairs - this is mainly a problem during the SH off season.

On all the Boards we have posted on over the years we have always been open to all topics.....non rugby posts decline when rugby starts. If Hasbeen is so toxic why are all the whiners still posting. ......... This is a storm in a tea cup. ........... That said, I can understand that politics, religion and even such topics as Global Warming are divisive. I would have no problem in having that section below even if I don't favour it. But to suggest that posting on other sports taints the rugby board is rubbish. .......... All this smacks of the dictatorship on the old SuperSupporter Board that caused many of us to leave.....and laughably the charge is being led by Urinal who complains the most about that Board. Stinking hypocrisy.

usually there's no problem with the non-politics issues,... he's been opening threads about them lately and there been some discussions,... no problem there
I have never open a thread about these issues in the Rugby-section since the Trvmpet section was open,... every time I wanted to discuss any non-Rugby topic I went down,... but obviously I answered to threads open by other people

what happens with the politic threads is that Mr. Been is specially obsesed with Trvmp,... he wants to convince the whole world that he's our saviour (when he's the Anti-Christ, remember he lives in 666-Fifth avenue),....
as Mr. Been has no measure at all he always end up opening three, four or five threads per day about the greatness of the Donald (remember last year?),... he copy&paste everything he finds in internet,... including Trvmp's racist ranting and adding his own racist sh¡t ,... his hate speech against muslims, against mexicans, against women,... against any other collective he hate,... and that's unaccetable,... always will be

I think what Moz is doing is pointing out what a minefield it could potentially be. 
As far as I can tell, that is a demonstration of critical thinking via extrapolation of outcomes. 
If anything, he should be thanked for a positive contribution to the debate rather than being called Nazi or mafioso. 
But I get it, you got beef. Being unable to approach the discussion without said beef though, that's what pretty much invalidates a large part of your contribution, similar to many other contributions. Here is why village meetings are so rarely productive :)

Other sports should contain other sports but the occasional post in the rugby section is not a disaster, I agree with Oimatey, i.e. please indicate the c ontent in the title of the thread.

All the other threads have been hijacked, so I'll have my say here. My suggestion is the following. Have just one section. Basically we all agree that the majority of posts should be rugby related with the odd post about something else. And here is the thing, with the exception of Beeno, that is exactly what happens on this forum. In short, why change the layout of the whole bloody site, because of one person? It is complete insanity! Beeno must just learn to self moderate. If he can't do that, he should be suspended for a while, if he still can't conform to the wishes of the majority, then he should be kicked out. 
Pretty simple really, this whole debate is all centered on the selfishness of one individual.

 Another disgusting post directed at family who are no longer with us......it's one thing hating another poster but it's a sad and low day when it's regarding a family member who is no longer with us .

 3 for me ........... but perhaps more important a tighter control over spammers (not referring to Beeno's posts) and also a software upgrade which will allow private messages.
