An interesting game with Racing taking out Toulon from the Champions Cup semi-final.  That would sent at least Ceradunce into a long period of mourning.
There was a constant attack on by members on Goosen when he played at 13 for Racing - but he had in fact had a very good game in that position with the following stats being provided by ESPN:-
Kick                  -  2Pass                 -  8Off-loads           -  2Runs                 -  6Meter gain         -  44Line breaks        -  1Tackles beaten   -  1Tackles made     -  4Tackles missed   -  1
Fact is that Racing Metro will now have an away game against Leicester - who beat the disgracefully poor Stade Francais on Saturday.   Morne Steyn started for Stade Francais and he was disgracefully poor.   One typical example was when Stade Francais scored a try which he converted and brought them into the game, the next ball Steyn got he made an aimless kick and Leicester scored a try as a result.   He was benched immediately afterwards and that was it.   Alberts was also brought from the bench and he had his usual useless game on the flank.  Bad news both these two players.

Soooooooo ... Mike ... what are you actually saying? That Goosen should be brought back into the fray?
That he's a Bok?
I see your still harping on about the players of yester year. Thought we were moving on!! I don't know if you've noticed but Alberts and Morne are no longer contenders for Bok colours.
Nobody gives a sh!t about them.  They're past tense. History. Vanished into the great beyond.
Let's keep them there.

I am saying Goosen is not as bad as some makes him out to be.  He had some very good games for Racing Metro and that is all there is to it.  If he really wants to be considered as Springbok he must return to SA and start proving himself locally as a player to contend for selection.
The story about Steyn and Alberts was a barb against Mozart - the players whom he supported when selected for the Springbok squad barely 6 months ago.   I agree with you - they should never have been in the WC squad and are definitely not contenders for future selection -   bad news those two.

Yeah yeah ... we've heard it all before. They suck and shouldn't have been there to begin with.
They're hasbeens.
Now ... lets rather look toward the futurepossiblebeens.
