Scotland are one of those sides who often don't close good performances like Argentina, but they have immense strike power and are a professional outfit. Not considering who shows up for the world cup, it has to be said that the top NH sides look far more polished. 

I really hope they do well this world cup...must have some Scott's blood in me...love the pipes!

It would be something if the Boks lost to Scotland and Ireland. That'd be a humbling of note! It's not impossible. We have them first up. They gave us a bit of trouble in 1999, halving their conceded points of the previous encounter. Right now, they are a more complete side. 

How can you not cheer for the nation that gave us golf!

Personally, I absolutely hate bagpipes. 

There are things that could be exploited. Duhan can be weak under the high ball. I don't think they are very strong in this area, but neither are we. If they can get some possession on their terms, and gain parity in the set pieces, they can definitely win. I'm 2018, Pollard's last good test, it was Pollard himself who saved our blushes with a very dominant display. That was the fine margin we held then. They've been good for a while now. They are at a similar stage to Ireland where they just needed to get over the hump to start scalping the bigger teams. So, they are dangerous. I don't think Erasputin has the Boks level headed enough to be mentally prepared like I'd prefer them to be. They probably literally believe they are the best team in the world, such is his manipulation.

Finally watched the game...

One can't help but cheer the NH teams on at the moment. Perhaps I'm a little jaded but these days watching some of the 6 nations teams is just so much more entertaining.

I mean, compare this game to the Boks/Argies game on the weekend...there is no way a neutral enjoys SH rugby more of late.

An unpopular opinion, I know...but I'd love to see the Boks hit RC into the parking lot and join the 6 Nations.

The RC has been exceedingly poor the past four years.
